@@matthewviliamu2679 ahh ok thanks. The only reason I thought they were the same (or similar) was because they were both out for around the same time and both lost speed from it.

@@johnmiceter I mean they were both knee injuries, but different parts of the knee. VVD looks as sharp as he should for his age! For Chiesa he apparently hit top speed last season that were as fast as prior to his injury. The more important factor after a significant knee injury is 1) the player’s mentality and confidence in their body and 2) their agility and change of direction speed. For someone like him where his dribbling involves sharp turns, you’d want to see that he still has confidence to do that. Because that burst over a short distance will be enough to create separation with a defender to get a cross or shot off. He doesn’t necessarily need to have prime Mo Salah pace to be effective because he is a much better dribbler than Mo is

@@matthewviliamu2679 that sounds good. He reminds me of Diaz, the way they can take on players and Diaz reminds me of Mane lol. So if we have Diaz on one wing for a game (and maybe resting Salah) and playing Chiesa on the other wing, imagine how much carnage that would cause the defenders. I reckon they would have nightmares 😂

@@johnmiceter yup Diaz is a good comparison. Very shifty with the ball and tight spaces. Chiesa is comfortable on both feet so can make him a nightmare to defend against. It’s such a good pick up for us with so much upside
