Im very surprised klopp did no see this already? Hmmmmm i wonder why not? One of the best and most fowward thinking managers in the world has not seen this. I HOPE that trent plays in mf for liverpool next season, you will.soon be moaning
Hopefully not, for me. Will cost upwards of £50m, we have Bradley and Gomez and when I’ve seen him play down the stretch for Leverkusen, was surprised at how undersized he is. We all saw sides target Alexander-Arnold at the back post and beat him regularly to knock downs and even headed goals and he’s 6’0-6’1…
You have to understand something really obvious but nobody seems to notice it.Frimpong will be the best remplacement not for TAA ot Conor. He well be the new Salah for Liverpool
Think we’ll only sign a CB and possibly a LB but doubt we have a big summer for transfers. We have a great squad many of whom will be better for the season they just had, young guys have had more playing time, some are back from injury and others have had their first year in the PL. unless we have the likes of salah or Diaz leave, I don’t think we need to do much.
We have a great squad to compete for top four and win some domestic cups , as far as winning a champions league no chance real Madrid have added mbappe we struggle against Atlanta in the Europa league. Would you fancy playing Madrid with this team, arsenal and man city are ahead of Liverpool just buying a CB and maybe a lb now does that close the gap . The only hope I can have if we have uninspiring transfer window is we have a new manager new ideas new tactics some unpredictability that might unlock players like szbobozali Darwin nunez Diaz gravenbirch even giving Salah a different dynamic. Recruitment in the last few years hasn't been good enough compared with before that fab mane Salah wijnaldom Alison van dyke Robertson now Diaz gakpo nunez decent players but they are not world beaters.
That's a damning conclusion to why our defence was paper last year. Why did things get this bad? Very very enlightening video though. Great stuff! Not just things we wanna hear, but hard truths
When I heard this guy talking about defending set plays, in particular the mental attitude required was music to my ears. I have been screeaming the need for this for years. Liverpool are an absolute soft touch, and are next to clueless. Klopp used to wax lyrical about how good Brentford, City and Arsenal were, and yet in the post match interviews was left time and again trying to explain time how and why we had been undone by such tactics. It used to baffle me how he could be so clued up and aware of the threat, and yet continually do nothing about it, and be undone by such plays every bloody week !
u can say foden, jude, saka etc. are creative until ur against a low block where they can’t do it consistently, trent is the one who can make that difference. His vision and passing ability is good enough where id argue the team should be built around him cus we have loads of great finishers and system players but when it comes down to it all the forwards look scared at times to play that pass or make that run when trent will just do it and that’ll be a difference maker against a netherlands for example who will sit back against us and just try score a set piece, without trent i can see us losing to them
what are you basing this on? Whem did trent last run a game from centre midfield for club and country? Looked awful against iceland the other night in this role, what are you basing this opinion on?
@@johnnyjohnson947 he didn’t start again iceland? in fact when he came on he made the best chance we had for toney who missed the ball then ended up making the most chances for england in just a 30 minute cameo💀 if ur gonna make a point atleast know what ur talking about don’t assume things. As for running games he does it for liverpool all the time and he did it for england against bosnia. Notice how when we’re stuck and don’t know what to do we just give the ball to him and he’ll find something
@@timmy5876 he run the game against bosnia? He was awful against bosnia until he moved out wide where he scored, i would play him if we are chasing a goal with 20 mins to go, I would put him on at RB cuz he has a good delivery, but he is a liability defensively, so its a trade off, but for him playing centre mid its actualy laughable, he has played 3 games there in meaningless games, why not play him up front? I have an idea why not if harry kane is struggling play kyle walker CF cuz his pace would rip teams to shreds, cuz thats all it takes to play up front right pace? Rediculous.. did ngolo kante try and spray 40 yard passes every time he gets the ball?. What about roy keane dont remember viera doing it,yaya toure? Clearly trent is better than them cuz he pulls of a 40 yrd switch of play twice a half, we have an issue in defence so you are going to rely on trent to protect the back 4? You are a chump
I’m taking him, people forget that we are not run like that stinking Mold Trafford club. He is a quality player & would thrive based on how we back all of our players
Why you man even crying about Trent and midfield??? He is just a casualty of the modern game. Take Ozil, the most natural number ten ever, he would now be asked to play an 8 or moved to the wing. It is the way of the game. Midfield is all about being a motor for a team, receive and pass, constantly, look for space if you can and create when allowed. Maybe managers don't see he has the engine or he will give up possession and cause a transition. Maybe he can adapt or play well against teams not on it but why bother when he gives that as a RB?
Are you kidding me???? As good as Trent is, he is no way near the best option for England in midfield. Bellingham and Rice are a lock and in that ten you have the likes of Foden. Trent this year was a little above average for the third best team. Bellingham will most likely win the Ballon d'Or, probably just out doing Foden and Rice played better for a better team. Rice is now consider one of the best DM around. And you man think Trent is a shoe in??? Madness!!! Mainoo is a better midfielder, also. Yes Trent is the better footballer but Mainoo is more press resistant and a natural midfielder. Trent will get found out, for sure.
What am actually watching?! Seemingly sound people saying they'll start a new managers career at the club, with a player that there's at least a 50/50 chance that he's a problem and have a s**t attitude?! Really? Can't believe what I'm hearing. Beside his attitude, and even his skill set, he's far from quick. Not done it in the PL, yes United swallow up talented players, but if he really was as good as touted before his move there, he would still have showed far more than he did. Didn't think you guys smoked, at least not before doing a show.
I get that all the comments are about his professionalism, but part of me loves that he was just like "nah this Ten Hag guy is a clown, send me back to Dortmund." My problem with it is just that we don't need any more dribbly wingers or attacking midfielders, and his effort off the ball isn't atrocious but he's not like a pressing monster or anything. Just not worth it given what we have.
Talented player when he seems to be happy at somewhere, and we'll never know what really happened between Sacho and Ten Hag, at united. But I do have red flags over his work effort and attitude and could see that he's may be disrupted in the changing room? For his current price tag, it's risky?
