In the "trial" iin New York about recording a bill from a lawyer as a legal expense did not identify the actual crime until the jury returned the verdict. I am ignoring numerous issues with the trial.

Judge Cannon appears to have grown very thick skin, in order to ignore all the bad press and publicity her support for Trump has brought her. She couldn't care less that fellow judges and those with authority to challenge her rulings are speaking out.
Actually, we WANT judges to have "thick skin." We don't want judges to decide cases based on press coverage or public sentiment. I remember Brown vs. Topeka Board of Education, where the Supreme Court struck down segregated schools as inherently unequal. It took judicial fortitude for them to make this ruling.

I would think that having a criminal defendant in your court . . . the defendant being the person who appointed you to your position (for life) would be a very, very clear-cut conflict of interest and I can't understand why Canon has not recused many times over for trying to decide a case against somebody who appointed her to her J - O - B !!!!!!
The word weird should never come up in the description of any case in the US justice system. Pretty obvious she's biased. If she weren't she would have already refused just from the appearance of bias.
