Look, I am not an economist, or even a financial expert. But, to me it just makes sense to reduce the interest rates to what they were 2 years ago, (before Albo came into office). The Hospitality and Retail sector have been crippled because people can’t afford to spend the money like they used to. 100’s of businesses have folded, gone bust. And with the interest rate rises. Where is the money going? Apparently, last financial year CBA made a profit of $10.2 billion (after tax). As for ANZ, NAB, and WESTPAC no doubt as well, or close to it. For the Board Members of the banks who are already getting huge salaries. I hope that you might have a conscience before you take your next bonus.
