My best friend got the woke virus, unironically thinks that castration and identifying oneself as a woman while being male makes one female, yes female as in the sex. I showed them the scientific definitions of literally every dictionary but they were bigoted and refused to continue the conversation calling it problematic. Wokeness is legitimately some sort of mental illness spread via mass hysteria and social contagion, it spreads a toxic culture of gaslighting and avoiding critical thinking in order to keep itself from easily being eradicated with basic common sense.

In the US, liberal is attached to “far left” or “leftist” so now we need “classical liberal” because the word liberal is badly used.

A liberal is simply one who favors choice of being and doing vs conserving traditional choices of being or doing. I really wish liberal wasn’t used so loosely honestly. Liberal is not necessarily what a leftist or far left person is.

It’s the opposite of the US. Liberals are more conservative and their colour is blue. The other main party Labours colour is red and they enjoy spending everyone’s money like drunk sailors and are the more woke ass leftist wankers that wreck any good work done by the Liberals. Just like FJB.

My nordic country is sort of liberal and not that religious. Multi-party system where nothing is that extreme. We do not give puberty blockers or cross sex hormones to underage kids. I think having strong divide between "left" and "right" and little in between makes these things worse. Like in the US right goes wayyy overboard on pregnancy termination issues and left does the same with gender. And people suffer.

@@MarieAnne. Inclusive language does not lead to accidental deaths. That's an absurd connection to make especially with no evidence. Reality is there are people with a mixture of different parts, inclusive language means doctors can more accurately describe what that person has and how it may affect treatment.
