💧 Worcester Bosch 30i prv leaking 💧
Customer called to say they’re ‘overflow’ from the boiler was leaking and that the pressure on the boiler was in the red…
On arrival I could see the PRV was leaking and the pressure was up at 3bar…
I whipped out the brand new Breakdown Bible Wet Edition straight to the combi boiler excess pressure fault finding flow chart to guide me through diagnosing the fault…

One handed ! We have contractors that do our plumbing jobs with TWO hands and they still mess it up ! Great video 👍🏾👍🏾✔️

Another top video mate and top work 👌 I’ve a similar problem on a 30ci but isolated the incoming cold and outgoing hot incase it backfed, still went to 3 bar after 15 mins and prv poured out Main burner next port of call? Cheers

Good video. Keep it up. I’ve got a question in regards to a Worcester greenstar 30i combi boiler if you can help me out please. Last week the boiler locked out and sent a error code I can’t actually recall the code. So I reset the boiler and it started firing up again but the pipe to the expansion vessel was leaking so I replaced it. I also put some fenox f3 into the cell. The problem I’m getting is that when the boilers hot water and heating is off the pressure bar goes up to over 3, but when the hot water is running the pressure drops down to slightly below one. I can’t seem to figure it out as I’ve put in a new heat plate exchanger just to see if the pressure settles again. But it still rises. What else can be at fault?

Have you checked the filling loop isn’t passing?

@@boilerstobathrooms6267 the filling loop at the top of the boiler? It seems to be on and the water fills up to increase the pressure to 3 bars when it’s off. I brought the part second hand from a plumbing specialist who done a refurb as I didn’t want to pay too much in case it wasn’t that part. What’s the main possibilities as I’ll try getting all new parts and see. Cheers for the prompt reply.
