Customer advised that the pressure on her boiler, keeps going up and near 3Bar,even with the boiler OFF Or Not being used.
This is quiet a common issue with Worcester's KEYLESS filling Link assemblies and is caused by high limescale content in Mains Cold water, which restricts the spring's movement (behind the blue Lever). Causing it to stay Permanently open and Constantly but slowly, fill your boiler or heating system.
This can be resolved usually by replacing the complete filling link. But that would require the heating system to be drained down as well. A much efficient and quicker way, shown In this video, is by just by replacing the spring mechanism on the link. Watch the video for detailed process. Thanks

Have come to the same conclusion on the inlaws boiler. Confirms my suspicions.. they don't sell a service kit for the keyless filling link! This video has been invaluable. Thanks!

Hi. Thanks for your message 🫶. Correct that there is no service kit for this Keyless filling link, but the maintenance, as I've tried to show in this video, almost always works. But.. 🫣

Sometimes I've found, if you're unable to fill up, the pressure, even with the blue lever working fine and the cold water mains inlet pressure OK. In this case, the complete filling link assembly, will need replacing. As I've found a blockage, a few times, appearing on the heating pipe, side end of this filling link. Causing cold water, to either not fill the heating or does it very Slowly.

@BoilerMend that would make sense. Service jut with filter... sometimes I just wonder why they don't stick with a traditional ball valve and just add a lever. Less moving parts = less that can go wrong 😄

Hi. One thing you can try. Fully close or tighten, the square shaped screw on the filling link and then Remove the key from the link, by pulling downwards. Leave it for a few hours. Then check, if there are any drops of water, from. Where you removed the white key earlier. This may indicate if your filling link is letting by water. May be constantly filling the heating system.
