Most likely this map is named for the area around Terre Haute, Indiana, which is a city in West Central Indiana, USA. We pass through there on our way to St. Louis from our home in Ohio every year or so. Love your map reviews, by the way!

Terre Haute is french for "high ground".

@@ZboeC5 That is correct and is how Terre Haute, Indiana, got its name from the original French-Canadian explorers and fur-trappers in the 18th century, who appreciated its relatively high location over the Wabash River valley.

I grew up in southern Indiana and am very familiar with Terra Haute (pronounced: Tear Hote, phonetically). The terrain around the city, or town as we’d refer, isn’t flat at all. Southern Indiana and center west Indiana is very hilly. Thus, the name. High Ground. This map does not reflect the area at all. It is more likely reflective of northern Indiana which is fairly flat and does have huge flat agricultural farms.

I like the map however you can’t buy the contracts field even after farming it a few times. No way of removing the large rocks which are a real pain and why the random bollard on the contract plot 🤷‍♂️. You can buy the BGA plant but can’t delete it. Time to leave this one I feel

It seems too glaring a mistake for the field not to have a number. From a contract standpoint, if you want contracts, don't buy the field. I like merging fields. This would also prevent you from merging the larger fields. If this was intentional, it's puzzling.

I really want to try this map but there is a field that is un-buyable. I did already have most of the buildings required to download so not an issue there.

I was excited to see another Indiana map, but this doesn’t resemble Terre Haute at all tbh. Certainly could use some improvements

This map screams big equipment. Which means big harvests. Which means big trucks hauling big yields. Yet, while the farm and its buildings are spacious, ingress and egress at delivery points looks to be a nightmare for said trucks. Trees clustered around the entrance? Tight turns and corridors once you get in. If you can get in. Modder is clearly not a truck driver.😂

Is it just me or has the ps4 version of fs22 had a game killer update. Had no issues barring a few game crashes until the last update. Now I can’t load a save or start a new one beyond 50%. Tried removing all mods and using a base game map too
