its super terrifying because he is planning to end all social services. I am disabled and able to live in my own home with caregivers coming for a few hours to help me out. republican states have already ended many programs that allow me to not be homeless. I'm disabled due to a drunk driver too.

That’s what the law says is the maximum that can be imposed. There’s no scale of fines to wealth, or previous job descriptions. The judge can arbitrarily impose a larger amount of fine just because trump has pockets other than his that he can delve into to pay them. Can you and all others obsessed by testicles raise your minds above your bellybuttons and attempt to comprehend the WHY of the judges actions. It’s quite understandable, if only you’d try.

The simple, and proper, solution, is for Judge Merchan to lock him up for thirty days for each contempt of court. IF he's found guilty, he should be imprisoned for the maximum amount of time. Nor should bail be granted for his inevitable appeal. Let him sit in prison, for his appeal, like any other prisoner.
