Edmonton’s decisive win over the Florida Panthers in Game 4 has Oilers fans feeling confident about the team’s chances. Adam Ziccarelli and Elliott Knopp break down the victory and look ahead to Tuesday’s Game 5.
Let's take a better look at this. The Celtics the night before, also being up 3-0 and on the road, getting completely blown out. One would start to think they both want to win in their home court/rink.
One good thing about Jerry West's passing is that he was spared of witnessing Boston winning their 18th championship. I'm also spared of that too being a Lakers fan and I've avoided the NBA Finals like the Plague and haven't seen a single second of it nor viewed any images or photos. Buck Foston!
I grew up as jet fan back in the 80 or 90 i remember one play off year jet lead oiler 3-0 but they came ba k beat us at 7 . Also go all the way to win cup that year too . That is gretzy era
Panthers in 5. It's over, Edmonton. Apart from '93 in his first year as Commissioner, Canadian teams don't win Cups in Gary Bettman's NHL and because the Oilers are dumb enough to have Corey Perry on their squad. They're jinxed.
Down 3 games, but the Oilers can score 8 goals to force game 5? Do you think it's about the MONEY and the Outcome was already Decided ? That's why I stopped watching hockey after they fired Don Cherry! 😢
It was a very convincing win, except for one little problem: the Oilers were only 1 for 6 on the powerplay. If they don't fix their powerplay, they aren't going to win this series.
@@user-yg1dg6xm2g Irrelevant. The Oilers pk has allowed one goal in the past like, 40 power plays. So it comes down to 5v5. It doesn't matter if their power play isn't producing when their pk kills every single penalty. It cancels out lol
Oiler’s momentum?? Huh? Thinking with your heart not your head . Delusional for sure, I’ll let you live in your reality because I’m nice guy, wake up. After your dream you can take up golfing which u should have weeks ago😂🤣
Athletes don't think that way. They do have let downs though; and that's what happened for Florida. Bobrovsky wasn't as good too. He looked passive, slow to react. Playing it safe? Waiting for Edmonton to hand it to them? Knowing they have more games in hand probably affects them, as you say.
Nah, you're falling for a classic fan trope perspective. You want to win every game, you don't throw them away, you never know what could next if you decide to intentionally lose. What if you lose a couple of guys to injury in the process of extending the series? What if the other team starts to heat up even more and you wished you chose to win and close them out sooner? So yeah, nice try but, not a great attempt to explain why Florida lost.
Yup, lost 8-1, had Bobrovsky pulled, played very aggressive and frustrated with big scrums in front of the net. No team is letting one get away in the Stanley cup final. If Edmonton manages to win the next, then they come back to home ice to tie it up. Dangerous game. Big cope on your end lol Cup's probably going to Florida, but get real
They're not delusional, they just know they're capable of beating Florida despite everyone saying they're not, and they showed that tonight. They're more than capable, but it's probably too late. They didn't leave themselves enough wiggle room.
