Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell breaks down the “palpable tension” between Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and the Business Council of Australia during Tuesday night’s BCA event.
“He copped it from business,” Mr Clennell said.
“He went to Minerals Council last week, copped it from them in Canberra, he’s gone to the BCA and copped it from them.
“Bran Black, the CEO, gives this speech, kind of bagging out the government, and the fire alarm goes off for several minutes at the end of the speech and people are joking, ‘Oh the PMO, Prime Minister’s Office set off the fire alarm’.”
