‘Raconteur of incredible importance’ Sir Elton John’s touching tribute to Barry Humphries 

Elton John has given a touching tribute to his friend, the legendary Barry Humphries during a memorial service for the national icon.
“I will miss him so much because he was just one of the funniest people,” Sir Elton John said.
“He was a raconteur of incredible importance and genius.
"It is sad that we won’t be seeing him again, but we have so many memories of him. His books, his TV appearances, and the wonderful jokes and wonderful kindness that he showed to me and everyone."
Dame Barry Humphries is being farewelled at a state memorial service at the Sydney Opera House.
