I have a sister that did 2 tours of Iraq she was a staff Sargent in charge of feeding soldiers on the front line after her 2nd tour she was told if her unit was called she would have to go a 3rd time. Thank God her unit wasn't called she retired after 20 yrs which she started out as a reserve but had to reup the 2nd tour in order to get her full benefits. She got full benefits after retiring but once she came home she was never the same. I thank you for your service to this country, we're better and safer for what you have done and may God continue to bless you and your family while you grieve, sorry for your loss you are truly a Roll Model. Thank you!

Do you happen to know how to get a hold of him? I too am a Veteran and was in the Field Artillery. I just retired in 2022 after 22yrs of service. I wanted to ask him a question regarding his 64 and the theme. Thanks
Thank you for being a wonderful role model, and thank you for your service. I have lost many family members to diabetes. It's a horrible disease. I hope you stay blessed and keep moving forward. Truly sorry for the lose of your son to that horrible disease. My oldest is also named Patrick. He's 17 going on 18 in June. I don't know what I would do if I lost him so early. God bless you sir and be blessed.
Thank you Sir for your Service to this Country, and for dedication. My son, Sargent Steven Johnson Jr., is a Drill Sargent in the US Army in Ft Benning Georgia. You're an awesome brother. You're truly one of the great Men in this country. I'm an old Lowrider too. Your 64 is Clean my brother. Top of the Lowrider food chain for sure. When you make Lowrider Magazine, ain't nothing else to say! Thanks again for your service. 👍👊💯
From one veteran to another, thank you for your service and "Honor" in protecting the Republic. Beautiful story, smooth impala ride, which reads like a book, literally. And last but not least, may God have merry upon your beautiful boy R.I.P.
To the Sarge thank you for your service and for sharing your beautiful 64 Impala with us. God bless you with the peace you have earned after so many sacrifices you have made selflessly for us. I was born in 64 and this vehicle represents a time of both beauty and simplicity. I can see all the love and care you have given it. Sorry for your loss of your son. Once again thank you for sharing this beautiful ride with us and God bless.
What a laid back vibe this documentary has!! There's so much art and passion in the Impalas itself, Chicano culture and everything around it!! The best thing I have found is how welcoming Chicanos are for 'outsiders' that are interested in their culture like me.
I love the 1964 Impalas . Dedicating. this beautiful car to those who sacrificed their lives for our COUNRTY is a beautiful thing . Thank you for your service sir .
Awesome ride brother !! Thanks for honoring our men & women who never made it home. You're a great man. Thank you for your service to our country. We appreciate your sacrifices.

Be proud that your son was able to experience your retirement from the Army. I'll be looking for the '64 on the streets of LA and El Seg.

A roll model indeed. What a guy , what a story and what a car! Thank you Sir for your service and sacrifices you have endured. May your Son rest in peace. I would love to see any of the idiots that give this video a thumbs down face this man and explain why. Talk about opposite sides of humanity
I served with SFC Silva in Al Asad, Iraq. At the time, me being a private i didn't speak to higher rank,, but man if i knew he was into lowriders, we would've been having long conversations about cars. I haven't been able to own one myself but i did paint a lot of cars.
I know Mr. Silva in person! Please tell him thank you for your service if you meet him! I too am also an El Paso native. I've known him since I was little due to my father being a member of Imperials Car Club El Paso.
