‘This Is a City That Is Shook': City Leaders React to Shooting Death of Temple Officer 

We had over 500 murders last year, but now city leaders are shook. Maybe Krasner will start to get tougher on crime.

I won't be surprised if we find out the shooter was already in trouble with the courts and the DA's soft on crime stance allowed this clown to be on the streets instead of a prison. If that's the case Krasner should be charged as an accomplice.

City leaders only say this when it’s front and on the news. People die here so often I guess is his idea. This city has been shook for years, finally taking an innocent man’s death to realize that.

The Temple public safety president standing behind Krasner needs to be fired there is no way he should have been patrolling that area alone.

Get tough on crime Philly! Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Elect tough on crime leaders.

You can't control what someone is going to do, whether it's a simple crime or a violent crime with a weapon. Criminals don't care about who the hurt or kill. You can put another 100 police officers on the road and it will not help. There is to much poverty, people who refuse to work because of Government, lack of trust or respect for law enforcement or really anyone in general. Criminals don't care who they hurt or how they do it and nothing you can say or do will ever change that because believe it or not nobody cares until something happens close to home and then and only then you want something done and act like its a big shock to you. The world we live in is full of hate towards people and it doesn't matter what you do for a living, your skin color or where you live. It is affecting all of us and unfortunately it gets worse every single day.
