I totally agree!👍 I was at the Mall for the Queen's funeral procession along with thousands of others. My friend asked me to video the procession on my phone but I didn't want to.

I agree with Richard this was the most biggest event in whole my life and many of other. This was a great opportunity for Britain to remember whole world how we care about Britain.
Hopefully they will do the same for the coronation, in a time of hardship anything that not only brings in tourism - and it will - which helps keeps jobs going as well as bringing money into the tax coffers but will again also show the world just how well the UK in general (and by extension all other realms AND the commonwealth and as a commonwealth citizen it was great seeing our military out in front just behind the RCMPs) can put on a show of tradition. I agree with Andrew Pierce. The picture of Harry (just call me 'H') and Meghan has been put out there as they are jealous that they are NOT included with the beautiful picture of the King, Queen Consort, William and Catherine. We are all so sick to death of Harry and Meghan. They wanted 'out', they were given the opportunity to get out and yet they've done nothing but moan about it ever since. The fact is, they wanted to be free to do what they wanted, to live where they wanted, to earn money but neither of them wanted to get rid of the perks that come with being a working royal. The don't need titles for their children, what is the point? they don't live in the UK and are unlikely to. They wanted the children to grow up as normal as possible well, that isn't going to happen if they are given titles now is it! I’m an American. I agree with the person who wrote in that the Harkles children do not need titles and they could end up being a liability for the children. We do not have royalty here, despite how much M wants to promote herself as such, it’s meaningless. In my opinion, even H is not Royal since he lives here.

They also declined seeing his frail, 96 year old grandmother, because they obviously had other plans , and deemed it wasn’t important enough to see her. I'm not a Camilla fan, but the way she has stepped up is commendable. The difference between Meghan and Camilla is, one quit the job a million little girls would die for, and other stepped up to do a job she never in a million years wanted. Both married a Prince; one dumped all over that, the other stepped up despite never wanting to be Royal. The difference is...love. We do things for those that we love, not crush them down for our own agenda.

As an America, the idea that we would have to pay for protection for M.H. or their children (should they ever have any) is just crazy. Most Americans didnt even know they were in the States until that Oprah show. Most people in America has more need for protection than they do.
I am not a British citizen but watching the royal children and grandchildren and the thousands of Brits of all backgrounds and religions who came to pay their respects to the Queen as she lay in state, I couldn't help but be moved and impressed. I felt I was seeing the best of the true spirit of the British people.
Princess Anne was the first female to participate in the vigil of the prince's ritual she took part in. It was also a historical moment for her to wear her (well decorated!) uniform. I truly admire her dedication and drive as one of 4 royal children, although Charles sits on the throne, I believe P Anne is the hardest working royal! She keeps her engagement calendar full!
And Princess Anne would have been a wonderful Queen. No nonsense, decisive, fair, no pettiness, no drama. Monarchy first, successfully fit in family and personal life. And so on.
Richard is spot on! They want to make it seem like Netflix is the bad guy here. They will say " we didn't want this out there". A photographer may have released that photo but it was only released because Megan gave it the okay. The photos are not his if they were hired by her. Megan is very aware of everything around her so if it was not okayed it was not released. Also if she was not happy with it being out at the time it was put out then you would have heard her something being said that she did not release it or she was unhappy about it being released.

I've noticed how quickly King Charles has become KC3 or Casey. The name is Irish/Scottish Gaellic and means, 'vigilant, watchful, brave'... Praying that he remains vigilant, watchful and brave.
She was a TV actress that hadn’t made the Hollywood big time at age 40 years old, it was likely she would have remained on TV shows which is absolutely fine nothing wrong with that. I personally liked Suits the show but it wasn’t a big time show runner. They did this event in Manchester in the Uk which is Harry’s home country, if she hadn’t married Harry she was mostly unknown to everyone and without that connection she wouldn’t have made that speech. It’s odd how they aren’t a team, it’s her front and centre as the star. If honestly she felt the RF were an awful institution and they just wanted privacy and normal life they wouldn’t be placing themselves in the public eye and they wouldn’t use or need their titles anymore. Without the RF connection though MM wouldn’t have the platform she has now.
I find your comments always interesting but the show is very much elevated when Andrew Pierce is on, along with Richard the two of them make great programme content with their sensible and informed knowledge, they obviously scan all aspects of the media for the full picture especially of MM and her wiped clean background before Haz. Don't forget the Princess Royal's children, they have no titles but we all admire who they are & especially Zara who represented the UK in the Olympics. You are right though, Andrew's girls should not have been called Princess's but it was the Queen's wish. I have to say that QC Camilla has mastered the art of paired photographs well. She and KC3 👑 usually wear complementary clothes, stand side by side, but somehow she becomes the perfect 'foil' to him. I think Harry and wife felt (in a pre-conscious way) that, before the death of the queen, they were two generations distant from authority, which afforded them the opportunity to act irresponsibly childlike, that is, they felt entitled to complain like adolescents. Now that the queen is gone and his own father is king, Hotspur Harry is feeling the mighty hand of adulthood hit him in the face, and, at the same time, he senses the paternal/monarchical power looming directly over him. It is one thing to hoodwink your old granny, but quite another to face royal, parental wrath. The might that was once "over there," female, and quite safe is now "a powerful man standing over me" and could be dangerous. Additionally, it has been brought home to him the reality that his brother, who seems to have no problem chastising him for his sins, could one day morph into an authoritative monarch, as his father surprisingly did. Since he doesn't seem to work at all, how will he manage to secure an income from two angry kings? And from what I understand, he needs that income asap.

I did a research on the difference between a Queen and a Queen Consort. What I found out was that , a Queen is an inherited title like Queen Elizabeth II . She was crowned as Queen for being the next successor by birth but a Queen Consort is a wife of a King. So therefore the way I understood is that Kate will also become a Queen consort when Prince William becomes King. I hope I understood it right. But anyway eventually they will be called Queen because Queen Consort seems too long to say. If this is wrong, please let me know. Thank you.
You’ve got it correct, though most know that Queen consort is not the ruler. Queen Regina which is how HM, Queen Elizabeth signed her name is the successor title.

Don't know many that will watch it, and Netflix has lost subscribers because of those two. Netflix made a huge mistake with them. I canceled net, I do not support companies that allow a platform for people to lie and abuse people!
How long will it be before the word "consort" is dropped (unofficially) by the media. It is rather unwieldy. Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and Queen Mary before her were both Queen Consorts and the titles weren't used, except officially.

It will slowly happen. Elizabeth II was “the Queen” for such a long time, it will take a bit of extra time. But it will happen. Camilla is Her Majesty the Queen.

Queen Consort is simply the type of Queen she is versus Elizabeth II who was a Queen Regnant. Camilla has been referred to as the Queen Consort in recent weeks simply to differentiate between her and Queen Elizabeth II who had been “the Queen” for the past 70 years. It’s going to take some time when using the expression “the Queen” for people to think of it being anybody other than Elizabeth II. It’s like the fact that people still are sometimes referring to Charles as Prince Charles because he was known by that name for so long.

The point is that Harry and Megan have no official capacity within the RF, why are they releasing photographs as though they have an official platform of some kind, they don't. They left!

not only was it appropriate for Princess Anne to wear a military uniform, like her siblings, at her mother's funeral service; she definitely has "earned" that right, and lives her "honorary" status with her actions: going to the military folk who were responsible for the processing of the late Queen's casket on a gun carriage from Westminster through London, doing so with ropes (I know there is a technical term for this; I read about it in one of Julian Stockwin's Kydd" books, but I cannot recall what that term is!) Whatever the proper term is, Princess Anne said "Thank You" in a direct, personal way. I applaud her thoughtfulness!
