I will never understand how an award could be given to someone based on one claim about one comment that was likely taken out of context or misunderstood, and also with no evidence to back it up. I don't believe Robert F. Kennedy would agree that this award should be bestowed upon H&M, and doing so is detrimental to his legacy and all involved.

I find it strange how so many people make so much fuss about unproven theories, such as if Prince Andrew is an abuser for going to Epstein's parties, then is Margaret Thatcher for spending every new year with Jimmy Savile? Don’t be embarrassed. We know it’s political. I have to say though, I’m devastated my Australian daughter & family are moving to Boston from Finland. IMHO it’s a backward step for my grandchildren who are leaving a country with the BEST education system in the WORLD and has been voted for the 4th year in a row as the happiest country in the world. They aren't dragging the royals down with them yet but keeping those titles that show differnces in social inequality (according to our Constitution) while spouting about equality is pretty ironic. I just can't believe they were allowed to use them outside of the Commonwealth. It's also true that by taking the title she has revoked her title of US citizen. Why is our Constitution being ignored? The Kennedy name does not carry the weight even in the United States it once did. Robert Kennedy Jr. has questioned the wisdom of the selection and rightly so. It is not covered nationally and most American’s never heard of this award. I have to question it being given to 2 people who have a problem with honesty and constantly err on the side of deceit.

It was created to honor the work of Robert Kennedy who was assassinated in 1968. I believe awards have been given to recipients in 24 countries over the years it is given to an individual Individuals or organizations. It is seldom newsworthy unless the recipients are very high profile as in the case of Presidents Clinton and Obama. I cannot recall it ever being televised or receiving much press if any. Other than the two presidents I cannot identify another recipient. I was just providing the little info I know about it. Have a great week!

I am also bewildered by this award H&M are getting. It cheapens the award for President Zelensky. What have they done but throw out accusations with no proof. If you need therapy, go and work it out privately. It's so ugly to see this play out publicly. I also agree Edward deserves the Duke of Edinburgh title. I really hope that Prince Edward is given the Duke of Edinburgh's title, if only to respect the late Prince Philip's wish. He had to accept all sorts of things related to his name (i.e. the royal family is not the House of Mountbatten), so maybe this wish should be honored. I just think King Charles is waiting until after the coronation, perhaps for Prince Edward's 60th birthday. And I agree that Princess Beatrice and her husband could be a nice asset to the royal family. They're proper, discrete, and young, three very excellent qualities to have at this time for the royals.

Absurdly, it takes an Act of Parliament to remove titles gifted by the Monarch. There is the “Remove the Titles Bill” in Parliament now, second reading December 9. The Bill was launched by an MP in relation to stripping Prince Andrew of his title, but, if passed by Parliament, could be used to strip Prince Harry of his title as well. That doesn’t make it automatic, but, gives the King the power to remove titles - a power he doesn’t have now.

She didn't seem to realise that the royals first and foremost are diplomats, which considering she swindled her way into an embassy with the intention to stay (before failing her exams), seems a little daft on her part. They are neutral and rise above the government squabbling which goes on. She was given a position of trust, which is actually a real honour. In return she was given a life and money which few of us can imagine. Unfortunately, madam thought it was all about her, and completely missed the whole service to the Crown, nation and commonwealth. These people raise millions for charities year after year. Promoting causes, sponsoring causes and setting up trusts and foundations. Each engagement is as vital as the next, be it opening a hospital wing, or greeting foreign dignitaries. She proved herself to be a public relations nightmare, and diplomatic incidents had to be ironed over almost immediately. I expect everyone within the Royal Family and establishment breathed a sign of relief when they stepped down. They remain family, unfortunately yes, but they are blacklisted from the family business. And even H, who enjoyed his white privilege life (whatever he has been told to think otherwise). He has shamefully turned his back on it all, because it doesn't suit their false narrative. Where is H gone? He has been dissolving from day one. He was reshaped, but now he seems to be getting erased!

Wow! The photos show the distinct difference in ages between the siblings. Is it true that Andrew fought to prevent Charles from becoming king and have himself set up as regent to William? If that is true why is Andrew surprised to find himself in his current ousted position? This should not prevent siblings from socializing, as long as treasonous discussions don’t take place. Another reason why KC3 discourages these meetings perhaps, leading back to Andrew’s own actions as the cause.

This is surely just conjecture along the lines of Netflix’s series. I note you raise this as a question and not as a statement. Would be interesting to know the truth but wonder how much evidence has been buried and how many more tell tale books from former staff will emerge. Best thing is to ignore all.

It’s a shame the king can’t award Edward Titles , a hard honest working family member like his sister Princess Anne . Yet his horrid son Trashes the BRF like regular sport , keeps the counsellor of state , keeps titles , 5th line line of succession keeps him awarded for his horrible behaviour . Think Andrews lack of judgement speak for its self .. can’t be trust anymore than Harry .

I think it´s sad that King Charles is keeping Prince Edward´s gifted title from him. Prince Edward should get the title and when he passes on the title returns to the crown. If King Charles makes an enemy of Prince Edward he may have no one left to work as senior royals.

Charles is egocentric and selfish besides being weak and cowardly. I so wish he could be removed or forced to abdicate. William is already doing his work and is going to have his hands full cleaning up all the mess Charlie is leaving. When Charlie is faced with something he can't deal with ( which is daily) he simply ignores it. He does nothing. He announces things he's done or doing with regard to Harry and does nothing. The Kennedy family’s (RJK & JFK) have been disconnected for many years. Kerry Kennedy has a big chip on her shoulders and her own brother & sister don’t agree with her. Kerry started her father’s charity because she needed money. While Caroline has continued her fathers legacy and is the US Ambassador to Australia.
