I think when mark said that "I know you don't take these things seriously" he was not referring to his message to Heachan but It's about Heachan's health. It seems like even if Haechan is feeling pain whether it is on his neck, back or knees he won't take it seriously and maybe ignore it. Mark was asking him to not neglect anything that hurts on his body and take it seriously.
that’s why in the NCT promotional variety video he told Haechan “if you’re gonna hurt your ankles, don’t do it, stop”. haechan will do everything for variety shows, concerts, performances, he gives his all and doesn’t care about his health, that’s why mark worries 😢
I agree. Haechan says everything clearly and he’s not afraid to speak from his heart. He just gives off the feeling that you can really trust what he’s saying.

Like Lucas and his back, Kai from EXO with his hernia and spinal discs problems, Ten and Jaemin had to have a hiatus due tho their problems and luckily seems to be okay now, Haechan willingly perfomed on NCT 127 concert with his leg still not healed complitely. And there are many many more. We still don't know for sure what was wrong with Jungwoo that he needed hiatus. I'm so sad about them. Haechan went real deep when talking to Jungwoo. What he said about being the youngest and feeling helpless when Jungwoo's health suffered and he had to go on hiatus for a while, that hit me hard. I can't imagine having to keep going without an important part of the team. Haechan called Jungwoo the center of the group's "energy", but I also see him as being the "glue" that holds everyone together. After working with him for a year, but then having to separate for a long time, that's hard. For people like Jungwoo, you feel that absence. I wonder if the group got to at least visit him during his hiatus.

The half a year hiatus make sense now, , I'm not convinced that he take hiatus because he was physically ill, and take half a year to recover,. He obviously was emotionally, mentally ill(not a psycho.....) . His almost 11 months active promoting with 127 since his 127 debut was a really roller coaster ride for him, there are times that fans already accepted him but then a sudden first ot9 lineup fan appears and, giving him a bad comment, for thinking that he replaced winwin's spot in 127 and the first ot9 lineup was the one who deserve to experience a solo concert, which was jungwoo shouldn't be part in, And since jungwoo was a nervous boy who seems to have a panic attack, he always check out his name in all sns platform, and eventually read all bad comments,,, On their 1st concert he tried so hard not to cry, but since having a solo concert was a dream of all artists/idols, he couldn't help but to cry during his ment, with him saying sorry for crying and saying that he know he shouldn't cry because he don't deserve it. I see the similarities between Jungwoo and Haechan. Both are the mood makers, the energy of the group, but sometimes being the energy is hard because like Haechan said they joke around trying to make their members and fans happy but at the way they tend to forget themselves how they are feeling. Sometimes, the one who make people laugh the most is the loneliest person They are similar but different at the same time. They are the uwu line, and the one who get most hate because of their bright and positive personality.
You could tell Jungwoo was taken aback by what Haechan said. He wasn't able to say much but you could tell from the expressions on his face that he was feeling a bunch of different things at once that was making him emotional. But he laughed it off. And it wasn't his genuine laugh. It seemed as if it was almost a protective laugh to mask his feelings. I feel like Jungwoo has a very complex personality and I feel the same way about Yuta. I think he definitely has that cute baby uwu personality which is real and a part of him which he shows on camera. But there is a very deep, mature and caring side too based off of what Haechan said. I think when jungwoo took a hiatus last year, it really hit every 127 member hard, like they never see this coming because they’re living together, they did everything together and they’re literally like family, so jungwoo’s absence probably made their heart broken, because we knew it was not just his physical health that compromised at that time, but also his mental health Maybe yuta can relate to jungwoo’s condition and that made them even closer than before, yuta really gives jungwoo a lot of attention even before the comeback, he always said that jungwoo is getting better whenever yuta did vlive, and the other member said that they missed jungwoo so much and they really are genuinely happy that jungwoo is finally back with them. Haechan's speech towards Jungwoo hit me right in the heart. Jungwoo went through so much debuting in 127, he got bashed on for being the newbie and it was disheartening because so many people supported him, yet he was labeled as the 'replacement' and that's all some "fans" saw of him. The hate he got made him feel like he didn't deserve the spot he was given, that he didn't deserve to be on stage with them. That Hiatus he took shows that he needed time for himself and that what was happening did affect him, he came back this year and completely killed it and became this funny and confident guy that we didn't get to see much of when he first joined. I'm so proud of him because imagine the amount of 127 dance routines that he needed to learn in the same year he debuted, while also having to promote with the rest of the NCT members for Empathy Era. He worked hard and he deserved his spot without the slander he was given, he didn't deserve to be bullied. He's a sensitive person, who looks himself up 7-10 times a day to see what fans put out of him. The person that he grew to be this year made me so happy, and I hope he's always happy. I'm really touched by Haechan, knowing that he delivered his message well you can tell they're close, he felt a lot of sympathy for Jungwoo. I'm glad they have each other.

i was just going to comment this. He took it really well, talked really well, composed himself well. At times like this I am reminded that Johnny is older than them, even though we usually see his playful, teasing image. I've grown to respect Johnny so much because he really feels like an older brother to a lot of them.
Johnny has the ultimate big brother energy even if he isn't the oldest. It's a part of his personality almost. He is witty, sarcastic and yeah a lil terrifying when he's pissed off but you can tell how caring and patient he is. I feel like they all gravitate to him for comfort and approval. And he's always so loving and full of praise in his own way. I have been around since 2016 to see them and I feel like johnny has been a silent leader himself in a way too eventhough officially he doesn't have that position.

You can see Haechan from another perspective here. It makes me sad because many people look upon him as someone naughty and savage when really, he’s a guy that equally has a good heart and mannerism. Even though when he came into the room saying that’s he’s gonna cringe, u can seethat when marks giving the speech, he’s listening well and even teared up ( I think). He also gave an amazing speech. jungwoo was definitely trying to laugh off his comments so he wouldn’t cry and I hate the fact he did that because I know he probably reads comments online of people calling him a cry baby all the time and that’s probably why he’s protecting himself. As I was listening to Mark's message for Haechan, I somehow got the feeling that these two are the type of brothers who'd never hesitate to clown each other 24/7 or tell each other some funny, weird shit, but would rarely go deep bec they're both so playful in a same-age sorta way throughout their friendship. Like, in Mark's case, I can see him as the kind who'd simply open up to his members anything or any issue in his life if he sees fit since he sees all of them in the same light, since Mark has a purer and more candid disposition, compared to Haechan, who's always viewed as someone more mischievous and naughty (and very very quick-witted, even borderlining to smartassery lolol). I mean, both boys are soft but somehow more members tend to gravitate to Mark in a more protective and sweet way compared to Haechan who is usually the hyungs' main source of affectionate stress (Yuta: one day, that kid's gonna be beaten up, I swear 😂😂). But bec of this, people with strong fronts like Haechan tend to hide their weaknesses very well. It's some sort of defense/survival mechanism for someone with his personality and it's both a strength and a weakness. They are extremely selective when it comes to vulnerability bec they always consider how the receiving party percieves them. You may be very close to them for a long time and they still won't tell you certain things, but that doesn't mean they don't trust you or they're not comfortable with you, it's just that they are subconsciously looking for a very specific trait in a specific person. I remember in the relay cams when Haechan subtly admitted that his roomate hyungs Johnny and Jaehyun (the very matured listeners/father figures of the group) are the few people who he opened his deeper concerns to. It also seemed like he's his babiest and most respectful self w/ these particular older guys. It may be subtle or even unnoticed by most members, but to Mark, considering they live together and see each other all the time, seeing this might've been a small punch in the gut bec he expects Haechan to open up his everything to him, since he's the one he's been with for a very long time, that's why he emphasized those words to him multiple times. I genuinely think Haechan means no harm or anything, since he's a nice and caring boy deep down. I just think that bec he cares for Mark and feels somewhat responsible for him too, but at the same time still wants to maintain the playful, same-age relationship lightness between them, he doesn't want to burden him further. Heachan speech made even our confident jungwoo blush shyly 😂💖 I swear heachan is so good at talking and comforting others many people don't realize how mature and smart this kid is just because he jokes a lot. Although he is the youngest but he gave the best speech among them 💖 I love how he doesn't shy away from saying I love you to his members He express his love and affection to them all the time I wish they will love him more love in the future He is the maknae after all ☹️
The world sees Haechan as that annoying brat who always teases his members. But if they would really pay attention to the members (127 and Dream) whenever they talk about Haechan, they'd realize that he is not just a moodmaker but actually a reliable person. He observes others well and matches himself with their personality. He is therefore sensitive to what others need. He knows when to make them laugh. And he knows when they need comfort. And his message to Jungwoo proves that so much. He asks Jungwoo to rely on him because he is a friend, not just for the jokes but also for the tears. I cried during their part.

Jungwoo laughing was his defense mechanism to hold back his true emotions, but you can tell he was so moved by what Haechan said about him. I really thought jungwoo and haechan are the closest in the group. But after watching this, I realized that jungwoo isn’t as comfortable as I thought he was. I wish all of them to get along even more and bond like brothers for eternity even after nct127. Because they will always be part of each other for life. All for one and one for all! He is really close with everyone its just that he tends to hold back and keep to himself what's going on his mind like he doesn't want to burden his members, selfless love.
But I kind of laughed with Jungwoo (like it was perfect timing lol) because I am so not used to seeing Haechan this serious and his words were so beautiful; both of them were so warm with their words and I always thought Haechan was a very expressive and warm person (nct members did mention that before I think) + I'm happy seeing Jungwoo as this because he kind of has the 'alien'-concept in the group and it sometimes makes him seem "emotionless" (he clearly isn't!) but I'm just happy because this video will show he is just human and a wonderful person
Honestly thats 10000% True cs he is just like. That was the way for ppl like us handle our real emotions. Cz deep down in our Heart, we are very emotional ppl who can break down very easily, but at the same time we don't want to show our weakness.
It’s obvious that jungwoo isn’t the type of person who talks about his feelings a lot and that he’s always showing us his happy and upbeat side that we often forget about it.
I have a feeling that Jungwoo's the time who would rather stay quiet than speak whatever on his mind, maybe that's why he was always nervous. And maybe that's why Haechan said to be more comfortable with him cause I feel like he's the type to overthink at night and wake up to a jolly different person. Maybe his hiatus was the best decision SM gave, he came back much more stronger than he was. And I'll hope he'll become more comfortable in the future, cause I'm not gonna endure if you ever dissapeare again

Yall at 4:45 , when Mark said “I know you don’t take these seriously” is not about how Haechan will not take his words. But it was about how Mark worrying about those health-related things (neck,back,) that often neglected by Haechan.
