You know that something is truly messed up when doctors are making decisions based on whether or not they are going to go to jail if they provide life saving medical care

What is so shocking is that doctors know how dangerous sepsis is and still, they delayed - even knowing that her condition was deteriorating hour by hour. Even knowing that tens of thousands of people die of sepsis every year in this country, they still delayed.

This is tragic. She wanted to have an abortion so bad that when she couldn’t make it to her appointment meant, she decided to take a pill from someone who wasn’t a medical professional and a pill not prescribed to her. Didn’t know what she was taking and suffered the horrific consequences. There are so many women that can’t have children that want children. And some that are fortunate to have them, that choose abortion as an option and ”easy fix.” If a woman is r*p€d or her life is in imminent danger that’s a whole different story. But to have an abortion because of being irresponsible when there are so many methods of contraceptives available, is downright reckless on so many levels. The hospital that had her wait for 20 hours before giving her medical care should be sued. But the coworker that gave her that pill should also be sued.

This story hits home for me because I’m a girl dad and I have 5 daughters. I am a husband and have been married for 20 years. It is extremely important that we work to change these laws, because women need all the care, love and support period. Women deserve and have earned the right to make their own decisions when it comes to their bodies.

A woman pregnant WITH TWINS took Chemical Abortion Pills. She wanted a surgical abortion, so she and a friend drove to North Carolina but were late and missed her appointment.  So, the abortion vendor distributed Chemical Abortion Pills.  Once at home, she became very ill and eventually went to a Georgia Emergency Room (ER), where treatment was discussed. Georgia law limits abortion to early in a pregnancy, but the law does allow for saving a mother’s life. The young mother was reportedly experiencing infection - sepsis. The story says that after 20 hours, surgery took place, but the infection killed her.
