The Linda Lindas were first, Rancid 2nd, Smashing Pumpkins 3rd then Green Day last Linda Lindas- 25 mins (Roughly) Rancid ( got cut within 2 songs due to severe weather at nats park)- 30 min setlist Smashing Pumpkins- Should be at least 1 hour and couple of mins their setlist also got cut short due to weather Green Day- 1 hour and 30 mins
what a weird seating arrangement for the floor/pit seems like a lot of unused space. Especially for a Green Day show Edit - I'm going to the Toronto show. This will be the first time I'm in a seat. First row in the lower bowl. should be interesting.
Agreed, they even left the net up around home plate which was weird. Laziness on the part of the venue if you ask me, a baseball stadium is not the preferred venue for this type of show
@@simianstyl thats sad. what a weak audience. the audience of their shows in Europe had so much stronger energy. thanks for sharing anyway. tonite they're playing in Muskoka, Ontario. not too far from where my parents live. wish i was seeing them play.
@@kristopherryanwatsonyea I hear you. This is DC crowd on a Monday evening, half the people in the crowd didn’t even show up until Green Day was about to come on. People had more enthusiasm for Green Day
@@simianstyl i'm not surprised by that. Green Day are ok,but they never grew on me after their first commercial big hit album (Dookie i think?) I would think that SP would be the larger act that night, not Green Day. strange to me. Tonite they're playing at a small little venue hours north of Toronto, near where my parents live. both my parents are really baffled that they're playing there because its usually a good venue for only about 300 or 400 people at the most. my brother who lives close to my parents is going with some friends and he's not even a fan. it's sold out show so thats a good sign. tomorrow they're playing in Toronto. couple of my friends are going. i live abroad. they havent played here since 2018.
@@kristopherryanwatson I mean...Green Day still charts in the top 5 on Billboard's album charts and Smashing Pumpkins don't even make the top 100 anymore. I know older bands fans care more about their live show than new albums but Green Day are significantly more popular in 2024 than say, the mid to late 90's when SP were huge.
