Glad i never got put on at the shaw in 99,it was a homie from there, who stopped me from joining, saved my life,im 42 today, the dudes in this video went to school with me
@@jasonhenderson6924 we are still homies today,he works for mta,his brother a rep from 60$,he was one of those dudes, telling people not not fk with me,cus don't bang,at my days at Crenshaw high, also had 1 other friend who stopped he, and he's Latino
Wow, what a great organization to join.... Kids, it's ok to be smart, stay in school, and be a "square." The chances of you having a longer and happier life increase exponentially.
@@WhimWams well let’s see. These young ones seem to think it’s cool Larry. To crash out. This is just a little bit of wisdom. Should I have said, join another gang Larry?
I lived on brynhurst and 67 from 2014-2018,it was no joke over there, almost got killed a couple of times.they enemies almost killed me thinking I was from there.had to watch out from the 60s and they enemies.that whole area is cursed.
Like 10 years ago I was on 10th Ave visiting my cousin when across the street there was some kind of altercation when a man was shot in the leg but didn't fall to the ground and as the shooter was walking away he turned around and said "oh you think you hard" then shot him like 5-6 more times then ran away
I grew up in the Overhills. 59th & Edgemar. 1970 - 1988. Went to Windsor Hills, Orville Wright and Westchester. It's a trip to see kids that rode their bikes through the neighborhood become hardcore 60's, getting killed or going to jail.
@@Hxxva5252 o you 52 ,I meant 107, well that's how it is living here,I know certain 60s I went to school with and some i ain't cool with, bogus ,More like Shady
LA is a different beast. The larger the gang the more room for internal conflict. That's why small gangs like Fruit Town Brims or smaller sets tend to last and have less internal strife. Pasadena Denver Lanes got so big they just started fighting each other because their closest true enemy for most of their prime was a 15 min drive away (Du Roc Crips)
Easy for outta town 60s to be 60s most of em dont even have real pressure they just buy blue bandannas and claim 60s cause it’s popular. Outta town Crips only claim popular hoods.
@ChaseVercetti there is no such thing as 60s outside of LA. Just because a group of posers seen a movie and called themselves crips doesnt make it true. Nobody outside of LA is taken seriously when it comes to banging. Especially when you steal the name of a gang you dont share enemies with or go to battle with. Half your so called gang members are white boys and mexicans who say shit like, "we dont beef with other gangs, we just get money" Fuggin marks
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏿 Prayers out for those trying to recover from the passing of their loved ones 🕊️ Prayers out for those incarcerated and those on that path 🕊️
Just about every gang does this. I am from the Bay Area. I know of numerous incidents where Nortenos from the same click off each other. Usually young vs old.
Ima keep it a buc this happens to all big hoods. I’m from EC we don’t func with each other but in the past we had our differences, same with the Hoovas, 40s, all big gangs
@@cipriandobrea7369 u must be a outta towner bc we DONT NOW we had many internal wars between our cliques but we rose above that so u don’t kno what u talking about. U sound crazy
Fact is no matter what card you’re from or what side you represent. It’s snakes, snitches, homosexuals, thieves, bums, tweakers, shooters, hustlers, punks & squabblers from everywhere. Everybody has a role to play in a gang organization. Unfortunately this kind of behavior is nothing new. Homies been knocking down their own for awhile now with jealousy & envy involved you can rest assure that this shit won’t stop.
If you can do more like this cause we all know a lot of LA hoods but we don’t know they different clicks this was a really Informative video honestly one if the best I’ve seen as far as information goes bravo
"his wheel chair didn't stop his thug life, his wheelchair was equipped with an ak47" that's hard. i got chronic heart failure and become yer to year more frail and worse at getting busy. so even if it's weird, that quote told me that i can stand my ground as a man even at the late stage where i can barely walk.
I'm from Florida and we in fight 😅 smh yo enemy can live on the same street , its never hood vs hood but when we leave the city we click up funny how that works u cant diss nobody city when they outta the city
It’s almost hard to feel sorry for ppl in this lifestyle. I get slavery, racism , and discrimination plays major roles in this but let’s be for real. WTF!?
Who the hell give some coward the name "Shitty cuz". As a kid, everybody think for the most part Gang bangin is kool til the consequences that comes with it. I grew up in Rollin 30 Harlem turf but got 4 cousins bangin BPS. I could've got easy got put on by either set but thank God my mom had a friend that introduced me into audio engineering when I was 13, 14 and never became a gang banger. I'm now an old 41 year old "square" that never had to live that life!
Great stuff! Have you ever done a story on the Crip set that killed Raymond Washington? I usually don’t watch this kind of stuff but yours is relatable, honest, informative, and done in extremely good taste. Keep up the good work!
@@B-BNG Yeah, it most definitely was some crips but those who know won't say what hood they were from. Raymond never banged a actual set he always kept it East Side Crip. But the ones who chipped him was from a set.
Very informative. I stayed in Hyde Park for several years, coming from Chicago. Two of my best LA homeys to this day is 60s. Neither one hangs for very long over there these days. One always says, he's gotta picture of 6 homeys in it; everyone of em killed by someone else in the picture. What amazed me, was with the exception of a few blocks against Crenshaw, their entire "neighborhood" is middle class. It exemplifies the differences in gangs, bangin', and crime of LA and Chi respectively. The key similarity though, is that in both cases, dudes from yo gang is most likely to take you out. Kinda like most criminals, I guess.
Why in TF would anyone want to be apart of that foolishness boggles my mind. I’m 6 Deuce Brim and I’ve gotten luv and have been treated like family from Harvard Park, St. Louis, Birmingham, to New York and Texas. I’m glad to see the Pirus and bloods pushing peace and unity once again. Let them fools take each other out over there.
