Hi everyone and thanks for joining me today for this painting tutorial of “All Dolled Up”
This is a step by step portrait/figure lady dressed up in a big floppy hat and little black dress carrying a purse. We are using acrylic paint for this today, please subscribe and paint along 😊

Omg, that looks amazing. U made it look so easy. Such simple strokes yet so effective. I would never have considered painting something like this but am definitely going to give it a go. Hello star First thankbyou for your tube, so usefull I use jesso befor painting First question for back ground, can i use jesso black and white or not,? Second question is: when i use jesso after that when i wanna painting my color glide on it ( Sorry for my english , i try use dictonary for aome words) one friend tell me my jesso brand is bad and cheap maybe, is it curect? Thanks Arsham, sure you can use any colour gesso you like. Black or white is fine😊 just make sure you wait for it to dry first before beginning your painting. Have a great day

So I decided to paint my lady in red, but my hat looks more flat, like it doesn’t have that realistic look like 2 dimensional. Can I add a little black outline to the hat to bring out the shape and contours. I’d love to send you the picture and have your thoughts. Thanks

Thanks Lee, please don’t give up, it’s really about practicing and keeping your older paintings so that you can compare and see where you’re improving and where you may need too. I’ll sometimes paint the same image 3 different times, learn something new each time and polish my skills that way! 😘

I'm probably lucky to have gotten my Artist Loft Lamp Black when I first started painting. It dries dark, unlike the Liquitex black which dulled out to a grey. I ended up returning that one. When I want black, I want REAL black, so it wasn't going to be at all helpful to me.

Thank you for sharing your skill to all of us. I am a senior, 72, and I volunteer teaching painting to my group of youngsters, 70 yrs to 87 yrs young. I would like your permission to use this painting for one of my classes. I have 10 "youngsters" that are really doing good. I have gotten permission from others, the art sherpa and Jasmine. I am a new artist, with 40 yrs of decorating experience etc....so painting is only an extension of what I have always loved to do....Cannot tell you how very much I have enjoyed this video.....I have learned MORE watching you paint shadows, blending, color mixing then in my 2-1/2 yrs of classes..You are now my go to artist to learn from....Soft, loose, natural curves...So so enjoyed this painting..Now I have the joy of watching all your videos....How beautiful was your hand transition!!!!!

Your paintings of women is beyond compare. There is nothing in nature more beautiful than a woman. No trees, flowers, grass, no snowcapped mountains etc. They are the only definition of beauty and grace. Your paintings of them in a flared gown is absolutely stunning. This just amazes the talent to just be able to see a painting or picture and then execute it in ur own style. I would love to be able to draw and paint like this. I may give it a try. But how u pick the colors amazes me too. And the shadowing. All of it amazes me. I live this painting. So much. It fascinates me to see a picture come out of just a few lines. Beautiful

I went to a paint n sip party n did a beach scene and I was sooo amazed at how each person’s paintings were so different and unique. I loved mine! Then, the pandemic hit n I found Joni! I’ve started another beach scene from her, when I finish it, I’ll share. Amazing to me! Soooo relaxing to watch the magic! 👀👍👍🙌🏻❤️💕🥰
