I'm an eagles fan, but I think the chiefs getting the same treatment as the Patriots used to, everyone who ain't a fan of them is sick and tired of always hearing the media talk and gush about them. Like don't gentle wrong mahomes is the greatest QB I've ever seen play with my eyes, but dear God to I get sick of hearing about the chiefs every other mintute.

1988 is the year I became a Chiefs fan. I went to my first game at Arrowhead and watched Steve DeBerg beat the Broncos. I was stationed at Ft. Riley at the time and all the fans were incredible to those of us from Ft. Riley. I went to the game a Steelers fan and walked out a Chiefs fan and never looked back.

This is why Chiefs fans are salty. Not necessarily against Rich, but to everyone who just assumed they were going to fall off a cliff, or at least fall back to the pack. You see, we Chiefs fans have watched our team for 50 years. We've seen good teams. We've seen bad teams. We've seen flashes of greatness that didn't sustain. And we've seen the bottom of the barrel. And now, we see the Mahomes & Andy Reid show every week, and we know greatness when we see it. It is undeniable. They have been the best team in the division for years. Mahomes is the best quarterback playing in the NFL right now. They are not part of the pack. They are not coming down to earth. We know it because we see it every week. No disrespect to the Bills or the Vikings or the Eagles or the Bengals, etc, but until further notice, the Chiefs are the team to beat.

Best team in the division after Manning left in 2017, for sure. Mahomes being the best QB is debatable, but top 5 for sure. I like Mahomes, but he is just not as physical gifted as Allen but has a better scheme at his disposal from Reid. Mahomes is fun to watch. Allen is more fun to watch though. This coming from a Denver fan. Yes, I know we are worse this year than we were with Bridgewater. Chiefs will likely dominate the AFC west for some time.

Yeah well it's been a long time coming for me as a Chiefs fan. There's been a long, long dry spell between Len Dawson and Patrick Mahomes. I've suffered through QBs such as Todd Blackledge, Elvis Grbac, Steve Bono, Steve DeBerg, and Matt Cassell just off the top of my head.

The predictions about the AFCW being tough I don't think people should apologize for. Last year it was a division that produced almost three playoff teams. The last-place team was 7-10 and had easily 4-5 games they could've won. And all of those teams added major pieces to be better. So those aspects I think are fair. Where people should apologize was the doubt they threw at the Chiefs and how inept the offense was going to be without Tyreek. I could understand thinking it wouldn't be as good, because how do you replace a player of that caliber, but the disrespect to Mahomes by believing they would be an awful offense without Hill was always an awful take.

Only thing that can save the Broncos is if russ restructures his entire deal and makes it incentive based off of performance, takes a pay cut so the defensive players can all have a raise. Great video Rich, but honestly I think the big thing that separates the Chiefs from the rest of the AFC West is coaching (outside of Mahomes of course). Chargers and Raiders have better rosters overall, Broncos are at least comparable. However these teams are coached by a self proclaimed genius too smart to listen to anybody, a deceitful snake whose word has no credibility, and a fun guy to hang out with who is clearly in way over his head. Who wants to follow any of those people?

Not gonna argue that they are the best but it's not like they are overwhelming compared to the other teams in the AFC. Bills, Dolphins, Ravens and Titans are right there with them. And you can't tell me they are that much better than those teams. When they already lost to the Bills at home. Dolphins are 7-0 with Tua and would probably have the same exact record if not one game ahead if he didn't get hurt. And the Chiefs barely beat the Titans despite the fact that the Titans didn't even have a QB that could throw the ball and were running a offense from the 1960's in that game and yet still almost had them.

The Chiefs are obviously the top team in the AFC West, but there are at least four other solid teams in the conference that will give them all they can handle. The Chiefs are in a very good position to get the top seed because they have the best record and a manageable schedule the rest of the way, but the bills already beat them, the Titans almost beat them without a lot of their players, Miami may be the most dangerous team in the conference, Baltimore is putting a pretty good season together, and The Bengals beat them twice last year! The Chiefs have a 2 and 2 record in their AFC games outside of the division. There is no clear best team in the league right now.

So if the Chiefs are the best, and the Bills already beat them, then didn't they already do what you're insinuating they would need to do to become the best? The Chiefs and the Bills both have the same number of wins vs AFC East teams, only difference is Buffalo has to play those other teams 6 total games whereas the Chiefs get to play 4 vs the Broncos and Raiders. I'm not a Bills fan, but pretty sure Buffalo has the toughest schedule in the conference. Games vs Chiefs, Ravens, 2x vs Miami, Bengals, and Titans means 6 total games vs the top 5 other teams and they're 3-1 in those games. KC only faces 3 total and is 1-1.

Buffalo hasn't even won a divisional game. How many times has buffalo beat KC post season? You know, when it matters? Look buffalo is good, Allen is good, but he's not great. You wanna be the best? The Chiefs and Bills have both lost 100% of the games they've played vs AFC East teams. In KC's entire history they have a losing record vs the AFC East. They'd need 10 straight wins just to break even. The record of the first 8 opponents this year vs other teams: KC: 4-6, 5-3, 3-6-1, 5-4, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 7-2 (total 39-33-1) Buffalo: 3-6, 7-2, 6-3, 7-2, 3-6, 8-1, 4-6, 5-4 (total 43-30) KC has had an easier schedule and has a far easier remaining schedule this season. The Raiders and Broncos are a joke this season and Chargers are a shadow of themselves with all of their injuries. Previous teams from previous years showed KC had the better teams but this season Buffalo's only losses have come vs 6/7/8 win teams whereas KC has a loss vs a Colts team who only won 3 other games.

We've blown out every team with top ranked defenses this year. Keep arguing about buffalo. It don't matter that's why we have the #1 seed in the AFC and Pat is front runner for MVP it's his to lose. Hill wanted to be paid #1 receiver in the league type money. I don't blame him for that. That was his worth. It was just impossible to fit salary capwise with the Chiefs current structure. It wasn't personal. It was strickly business. A few years from now someone in Miami will be in the exact same situation when the Dolphins are trying to figure out who they are going to have to trade to stay under the cap between Hill, Waddle, Chubb, and Tua. That trade ended up being a win-win situation for all parties involved.

KC has the top offense in the NFL with the best player, by a mile, at QB. First it was the bucs with the #1 defense..KC scored over 40...then it was SF with the #1 defense..over 40 as well. Doesnt matter if KC secondary sucks...they have the best player by a country mile where it matters most. KC is the best team because of Mahomes. Jalen is a nice player, hes not a great player.
