So I have NO idea why I'm in North Carolina but if she's ever here to perform, I would love to listen to her for an hour...plus... she's not just a vocalist... it's as if she's exploring where a song can take her
Oh, Effie, I don’t watch “American Idol” but I just ran across the perfect version of “Creep” you sang with PMJ. I’m making it my mission in life to hear you sing live as many times as possible. I absolutely cannot believe how talented you are. Wow!
Hi, it's Effie Passero who is singing so beautifully.❤ I am just the person who captured the moment. Wanted you to know her name, in case you may be in search of more of her videos/music.😊
Who is she performing with now? Is she doing a solo act? I really enjoy her with these musicians! They are all so very talented! Her vocal range is astounding! Her stage presence is A- one!
She is still performing with PMJ (in Indonesia, as we speak🥰) also with Brandon and James from time to time, and with Enrique De Allende from time to time. You can catch her doing a solo act in Puerto Vallarta. Lots of different styles of music. All completely dreamy. ❤️
This is like Frank Sinatra does Black Sabath. The notes are there but the style/tempo/delivery is so juxtaposed as to create a completely different song... not just making a song your own... it's more like using the same words to make something else.
The band is called Postmodern Jukebox, and reinventing songs is exactly what they do. “Making something else” is the total purpose of the band. :)) They are known to morph songs into the styles of swing, jazz, rhythm and blues, etc., ranging from the 20s through the 80s.
@@merrimerlo7177 Oh, OK well that's different, if that is their goal then I suppose they are doing a good job. Why anyone would want to do that I don't understand, but apparently they have a following so good for them. I personally don't understand why if you want a different style music, why not just play music that is that style music, or write your own songs?
@@jimbishop8667 one very cool thing about it all is that younger people are experiencing and loving genres of music they’d never been exposed to, because the familiarity of the songs PMJ is using is drawing them in. Another wonderful thing is the caliber of musicians they employ. I mean people who can REALLY sing and REALLY play some instruments. Not to mention Scott Bradlee, the founder, is bonkers on the piano, and quite the master at arranging music.
I don’t understand why tattoos bother people, but to each his own. What I really don’t understand is voicing an opinion like this on someone’s RU-vid channel when they have posted videos that they’ve taken of their dear friend performing. What is the purpose.
And you’re posting your opinion becourse? She is classy with or without tattoo’s, it’s her body (and I think they look beautifull, nothing to do with class, you have class or you haven’t and she surely has it!)!
This lady is so remarkable that...even though I don't think I'll ever get a tattoo on my body I don't care a fig if she is full of them... it's just not important! it's her style style ....it's her taste... it's her body... it's her choice
I can't remember hearing a singer with such a beautiful tone in the last few years. Her sound flashes me! 100% beauty! There are many great singers with wonderful voices and expressions, but her tone, her sound, is an absolute rarity. I'm her fan!
SingVoiceStudioBerlin Vocal Coach Sabine Lopez I'd love to hear her tackle Dream On. Morgan James made a great version with PMJ years ago. It would be interesting to compare them. Effie certainly has great power and huge range rather like Morgan.
