In this interview from the Nobel Banquet on 10 December 2019, Literature Laureate Olga Tokarczuk talks about her childhood dream of being a scientist, curiosity as motivation and the importance of translators.
Olga you are my inspiration and I am sure one day I am going to win a Nobel Prize too, is a bold statement but I just know that:) Congratulations, I love your books!
Very mediocre writer, a bore.Poles returns her books. There are so many great writers who had never been award with this already disgraced literary Nobel prize like Joseph Conrad but are still read and loved.I had struggled to read "Bieguni" at every level from language to storytelling. To put it simply: shitty novel.
Interesting is fact, that Tokarczuk is very politicaly active after she got Nobel Prize. Her writing is nothing special, nothing extraordinary. There are many writers like her in the World. But she definitely using this "award" to spread hate around the World against democraticaly elected government.
