Très belle voix! Belles intentions! Beaucoup plus proche dans l'intonation de Cécilia Bartoli que de Barbara Hendricks, léger bémol pour le passage des notes rapides qui "accrochent" encore un peu. Mais elle est encore jeune et a le temps de travailler ce léger écueil. Espérons qu'elle ne succombera pas avec le temps et comme de nombreuses cantatrices, au charme de sa propre voix au détriment de la musique des compositeurs d'autrefois comme le laisse supposer sur cet air ses trop nombreuses vocalises pas toujours à propos. Une agréable découverte cependant!
This is exquisitely beautiful. I was smiling all through--so so nice. The improvisations are also really good. Very different from the norm. I also really like Julia Lezhneva's version but deep within, Jeanine De Bique seems to be winning my heart with this performance. Well done!

Omg who are you?!! Where have you been hiding?! Let’s get the obvious out of the way: gorgeous AF and that helps a lot. But most importantly, so effortless! Such an appoggio sul fiato! No fatigue, no larynx involvement nor any tension anywhere!!! Mesmerizing and almost unheard of in today’s scene!!! You may just as well have knocked Sills off the pedestal in this particular aria! Two minor observations just to be the obnoxious Italian.. work on the Italian diction and the trills.
She also has attitude. 1:38 Look at the cheeky face she makes with that phrase. Gorgeous and with a personality to match, in the world of Opera it truly makes a difference. And she has a powerful voice too. Obviously that's what seals the deal in the end.
Beautiful voice and sparkling personality. I'd love to hear you sing Donizetti, Meyerbeer, Bellini, Mozart, and Rossini. The only thing that I think needs work is your trills. Everything else is breathing 😊

Just… why? Why be so unkind? If you had any idea how much dedication, hard work and sacrifice goes into reaching even a fraction this lady’s competence, you’d probably not write such a comment. Do you listen to music for the enjoyment thereof, or to diss the performer?
