Ryan and Andrew check out the RMR HD from Trijicon. It’s got an auto gating mode or can go straight to “Death Star Bright!” Visit BCM! arfcom.co/BCM Discord: / discord #SHOTShow #ARFCOM #SHOTshow2024
@@FDCNCforgot to mention my MRO that was crap. The only Trij product I've had out of the eight I've purchased that had stood up is an older 1×4 lvpo. Sample size of 8 with 7 strikeouts.
@@ALovelyBunchOfDragonballz I buy Holosun for $300+. I’ve sent a couple back for warranty work over the years. Painless and I get them back in a week. I have 12 of them now so you could say I’m a fan.
@@davidkiser5250 That's MSRP price, street price will be $600-$650, used market will probably have them for $500 or less. Trijicon doesn't enforce MAP pricing so stores can sell them for as low as they choose.
Holosun. If you go all the way back to the year the 507 came out the Holosun guys said they'd been the main parts manufacturer for years, and decided to get into the end user market. Doesn't matter what company's optics you buy, you're buying Holosun parts.
Yes@@deangullberry5148 I'm well aware. I worked in purchasing for company that used to be based in Fountain Valley Ca. the "totally American made Flashlight" was assembled in the US from electronics from Taiwan and China. At most, the aluminum was sourced from US manufactures. Its the same for every "US" company that has a diode or a transistor in it.
I've carried an RMR type 2 RM06 on my EDC for the last 3 years, I live it, will eventually pick on of these up as well. And FWIW honestly my current RMR auto adjust isn't too bad, I have to go up or down occasionally but its almost always usable.
I have the same exact RMR and it is a solid optic. I've dropped it onto concrete and it was fine. I'm gonna get an RMR HD eventually as well. i think its most likely the best pistol red dot ever made. I also have an SRO and I love how this has the bigger window but still the ruggedness of the RMR. I do not trust my SRO anywhere near as much as my RMR.
Great. 5 RMRs and several thousand dollars later, they get it dialed in. And they still will price it to ze moon. Trij and Aimpoint out, Holosun and Primary Arms in. Both of the prior have been ganking us forever.
It looks sick but anytime it rains at a match I always seen people cupping their guns complaining about the emitter getting wet, honestly I don't see much point in them anymore other than it's just smaller and lighter
Why the need for 9 settings at all? Why not a mode to keep on the button while the brightness is ramped up and let go when one likes it within that range of brightness and save it as setting 1 or baseline to adjust within a certain 2-point range around that? I'm just asking why a low end headlamp can do that and no rds has it. If you have 9 settings, 3 of those NV...you got 6 settings which isn't much. Every Eotech has more. The auto adjustment is great and the battery on top was needed.
Get them in stock and take my money already for the love of god lol. Huge Trijicon fan for 30+ years now but holosun has been my go to for the last five or so, honestly pushing my old rmr’s to the wayside. Excited for this one for sure but impossible to find!
@@Ro-XanBarsI’ve got RMR’s older than the company Holosun. And I’ve replaced enough chinasuns to not really want to deal with swapping them out. Yeah warranty’s are cool. But like. I don’t want my shit breaking.
5:10 While I agree in premise, in practice Everyone's eyes and Every lighting situation is different, so a Fully variable setting would be the most advantageous to a manufacture wanting maximum usability for every customer.
Come on boys six and a half. Just a little steep. It's good, It's gonna work. But man needs to be a little more competitive on the price. We are not the government boys.
645 isn't that much higher then other "Quality" pistol optics. Holosun EPS are going for 330-430 Steiner MPS is 550 The RMR Type 2 are still in the 500-600 range The acro P2 is 600 The Romeo M17 is 800 The Romeo X is 400 I mean its right in there with the quality dots, not sure what people expected, its not like their 1-10 credo 2100 🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂
