“Getting to Know You” - Digital Art Collage 

This demonstration features a "Getting to Know You - Digital Art Collage" and only requires student Chromebooks and Google Slides to create. This layered collage project should take students about 45 minutes to complete and the design requirements include the following:
1) A custom background color
2) A picture of themselves
3)10 (or more) images that represent their "likes" and personal interests
4) A large text box with their first name
5) 3-5 smaller text boxes with words that describe them.
This was issued to my new group of middle school students on their second day of attendance and before diving into the Elements of Art Unit. It was a weird week with only 3 days of attendance and I thought this would be a perfect first assignment for everyone.
