I’ve been a fan since 2005 and I love all their albums however LIBAD just hits different. I’d say is right up there with Nightmare in terms of my personal favorites. Maybe it’s because this new album came out at just the right time for me. The combination of skeletons in space is especially beautiful. Whatever it is I can’t get enough of the new album and of this gorgeous song. Brings me to tears every time.
@@stan_meow3778- One of the best things about A7X is how diverse their catalog is and staying consistently good. They have an album for a lot of different moods.
100%. Starting with Nightmare, they wrote for crowd engagement over their own musical fulfillment (not selling out - it's more fun to perform that way). This is finally getting back to playing what they want, ratings be damned.
Love how you seem to understand music in general real. The feeling of stylistic choices. So many people are so stuck on what they like and that’s it. You can find beauty in all genres of music and they in turn can make you feel something.
this was arguably my fav song on the album and for some reason this video tears me up a bit when I watch it, its almost overwhelming and im not even sure exactly why
Please stay on the A7X journey. There is so much to this band and you haven’t even scratched the surface. I’ll keep saying Bat Country or Beast and the Harlot until you get to them.
@TeddyGreyOS I think you would really like.... "Excuse Me" by Fire From The Gods Please do a reaction to that!! It's about 7 years old, but it's such a great blend of genres!!
Me too, this song made me feel like at above the atmosphere, feel like in the space with beautifully view of galaxies, and i think everyone feel that too cause a7x really make this song so perfectly, its a masterpiece
This song is from their Album 'Life is but a dream' released last year, June 2nd 2023 following a 5 year break. It's what's commonly known as the fan favourite from what I've seen and it's a great showcase song for introducing the 'new' album and the bands overall talent to new listeners. The band gets alot of unnecessary hate for simply not sticking to one style, but for me they're incredible and yes, I am biased but I love watching Avenged reactions and can tell you appreciate their brilliance. +1
This song tells the story of two souls who connect in life, die, then journey to a new life and meet again, over and over and over... The souls intertwined forever, journeying through lifetimes, reconnecting, losing each other, and knowing they'll find each other again in a new life. I love it.
@@nickshepley2566 I believe M. Shadows has stated it before, but I've only heard that secondhand. The story is that he and his wife were doing shrooms at Jhonny's house and Matt had a realization that he and his wife had been together in several previous lives
They are incredible aren't they?😅 I love when I see people get to the place in their life when they can appreciate Avenged Sevenfold. They are weird, cool, emotional, talented, storytellers, heavy when they want to, soft when they want to. Their discography is so diverse at this point that they have something for everyone. Life is but a dream... is one of my favorite albums of all time. In my eyes is up there with the greats. Great reaction!!
@@mbabaneamputee7725 they seem to be one of the few bands that do a raw live performance without any audio enhancements which makes their live performances sound uniquely excellent every time.
at 5:23 CHILLS EVERYTIME with the 808 hits then fades to the piano. EVERYTIME.. also Brooks just killing it. the last 2 minutes of this song just going absolutely nuts. just insanely talented musicians
This👆 If you don't have a good audio system, a good pair of headphones or you're not listening to the high quality audio, then you won't be able to experience this album in full. The base rumble in that specific transition is soooo good.🤤 The base in this whole album sounds amazing.
@@w122ArDAgreed 100%, but I’ve noticed that only in the first mv on RU-vid you get the rumble, at spotify or Apple Music you only get a bit of it and some resonance but not the full bump at the transition.
@@Matt.Alpenglow I have the CD, so I'm glad I will have the highest quality audio for this album forever. I stream the album when I'm at work or just having it in the background when busy (I noticed the bass is not as powerful in these formats), but when I want to actually listen to it, I set aside 1 hour of my day to play the CD, and it never gets old. This album is great, but when you listen to it how it was intended, then it becomes a masterpiece! Highly recommend to get the CD and play in a decent audio system at home or in your car. You will not be disappointed.
@@w122ArDyep I bought a set up 3 years ago to play my CDs on. I have some vinyls and cassettes but with a good set up you get the best out of CDs big time. CDs are so good that just a ok set up will do it justice for people that can’t spend a lot. I also have the adapter to make Bluetooth sound almost as good as CDs and when doing a mix to have on it works fantastic but CDs are top tier stuff.
This is one of the only times a song has ever made me drop my jaw with just music. I sat there in shock and said oh my god. I couldn’t believe it. The other times my jaw dropped were also other AX7 songs but man I just felt my soul lifting to the heavens when I processed what had happened.
LIBAD and the stage are both so brilliantly put together albums as far as being a whole piece rather than just a list of tracks. if you listen to the demos for nightmare you can tell they have been working on something like the past 2 albums for a long time. nightmare was supposed to be that but then the rev died mid development. RIP Jimmy
Mi teddy, saludos carnal. Big fan of watching you reacting and becoming a metal head.. I recognize your love for music and this path is gonna open up your horizon to new sounds. It's like looking at a beautiful star and then recognizing its a beautiful constellation
Essa música transmite uma sensação de paz, conexão com algo dentro de nós. Ainda vou ver a tradução da letra. O Brasil também acompanha o Avenged Sevenfold
I heard one song when this album was coming out and immediately pre ordered this album without hearing any other songs. Was not disappointed when it finally came, definitely their most artistic and creative work yet.
Was really cool to see you get slightly emotional at the end of the song. You could see it really hit you. I cried the first time I listened to it. You should check out the entire "Life is But a Dream" album. It's a really cool journey!
Maybe This Is Matt's Outpouring Song For REV And Maybe This Is The Song For "FICTION" Cosmic = There You'll Find Me Fiction = I hope you'll find your own way, when I'm not with you tonight. WeLoveYouJimmyfoREVer❤️
I always felt that higher was that song for the rev. Which i believe they stated it was about an astronaut lost in space but still had that "there you'll find me" and made me think of the rev
Dare say you n the boys will be turning the lights off to this audio journey. So wholesome watching your face during this reaction. Smile slowly creeps in 😉
At least some of this album was based around some DMT experiences (at least that is what Shadows said in an interview). Big ego death themes going on in there. You can really hear it in the lyrics of Nobody, but this song brings that all home for me.
What the boys have done, m. shadows, zacky, johnny, synyster and brock. The members, for the album ''life is but a dream'', have made a true work of emotional art and genuinely designed to give a great warm gift of enjoying and feeling a good return of the band.
if you want insane progressive instrumental with about 10 minutes of electric guitar genius that tells a story, check out Exist. It's 15 minutes but you can't imagine the song to be any shorter.
Great video, really enjoyed this one. A7X is my favourite band and I love seeing your reactions to them. You earned new subscriber. I wanted to ask, if you maybe could do reaction to A7X - The Stage or Five Finger Death Punch - Coming Down. Thank you and best of luck in your future creations.
This is probably the best A7x reaction I’ve ever seen, because almost every reaction of you in this video is pretty much the same as me. Maybe that’s why I feel like I relate to this reaction so much. The first time I listen to Cosmic, I feel like I have ascended 😅
Check out " exist" by a7x. Same vibe but better to me personally. Covers the big bang up to human creation, the track has Neil degrasse Dyson features. Real trip!
I have always enjoyed A7X's choice to bring orchestral sound into their songs because a whole lot of bands that are mainstream really dont do that. It brings so much more emotion to every piece of the song
I've been wishing since I first heard this song that i could go back and hear it for the first time again. Watching it with you have me that feeling. In a way, you flipped over my hour glass. Thanks man, Cheers.
Buried alive is a solid one that has everything. Instrumental opening, calm vibe that changes part way through to a whole different song that makes you just wanna head bang. Left satisfied guaranteed.
You really need to listen Slaughter to Prevail - Baba Yaga (or Demolisher... or Viking...) I think you ready for that kind of think! Its definitely hit very hard!
Teddy I’m so glad you went for this one, as I wrote in one of my previous comments you were not given the most appropriate songs for a first listen to avenged! Now after this you just have to listen to Save me. It’s a tribute to the Rev and it’s a musical masterpiece.
I don’t know if anything in life will beat the feeling u get when u hear that transition that happens around 5:20 for the 1st time in your life. I think anybody who likes any form of music has to hear that greatness at some point in their lifetime. It’s like if the feeling of true love & joy was put into a moment of music. I’d do anything to have that feeling back. I think that’s what true love feels like. I don’t need love anymore I have that transition now. I literally spiritually levitated.
Teddy please please PLEASE react to some Motionless in White music !!! I’d recommend Another Life, Eternally Yours, and Masterpiece to start off !! Love watching you🤍🤍🤍
after watching your reaction to Bring Me The Horizon ... im offically begging for your take on VIKING by Slaughter to Prevail ... if you like that, welcome to Deathcore
I know you were on a Corey Taylor kick for a while but one of my favorite songs of his is from the band Stone Sour song called Zzyzx Rd. its not the Slipknot style screaming and he explains how difficult life on the road is and it just hits differently.
Hey Teddy loving the vids! can I suggest a few? Deftones Engine no9, (deftones also did a track with Maynard from TOOL, pasenger it's haunting) Ministry -Scarecrow (sphinctour version) KMFDM - KUNST, and last one Sublime -Hong Kong Phooey! I hope you get to watch these xx
Great reactionn, lovin every second of it!! 🙌🏻👏🏻 truly amazing to see your experience just like my own. If you like this track, you might want to listen to “EXIST” also by Avenged Sevenfold. Similar theme, a beautiful and bitter journey it is.
You will like Save Me, it's 100% lyricism and a vocal masterpiece. It's not being overrated by the comments, honestly. you can fully deep dive into Save Me. Also you will 100% like Not Ready to Die if you've played Call of Duty Black Ops (the first one). It will give you insane nostalgia.
You should give blink 182 another chance fr. Try "hearts all gone" oooo or "Stockholm syndrome" also "obvious" is also great. Idk i love blink-182. I'm seeing them live July 8th and I'm so excited
It might help to know that M Shadows and Synyster Gates, the lead singer and lead guitarist respectively, quite like the psychedelics of the therapeutic variety and a lot of their recent music that I find quite brilliant has resulted from that. I recently attended a similar therapy session, and it changed my life. Cannot wait to do it again.
You have to listen to what is still my favorite a7x album. Sidewinder, the wicked end, or MIA. All from the city of evil album. Those songs will knock your dick in the dirt.
This album and Waking The Fallen (earlier than anything you've listened to) are miles beyond anything in between for me. They started much heavier than you've heard, as pioneers of Metalcore. I highly recommended Unholy Confessions to see how they started.
Did you react to Maggot Brain? Holy Shite I didn't think I would ever hear that anyone on these videos would even know that the Funkadelics even existed!!!
I think the beginning of the song is too slow and doesn't have a lot of complexity, but really that slow beginning is what makes the later complexity more amazing. It takes you on a journey, and every journey is unique. It makes you think of life. Of your past decisions. Of decisions yet to be made. And you feel connected to other people while you're on that journey. To people you've never met. It's a beautiful song.
Hello, I'm from Brazil and I'm new here on your channel, I'm loving watching your reactions, and I really wanted you to react to the Brazilian band called Angra, they are known worldwide for being a band with a unique combination of elements such as power metal , melodic metal, progressive metal, symphonic metal, heavy metal and speed metal. Not to mention that the vocalists were wonderful, the first was Andre Matos who marked generations and left his legacy and he is known as the maestro of rock, the second was Edu Falaschi, who also has a remarkable voice and has many fans all over the world, especially in Japan lol, and the current Fabio Lione, he is Italian and was the lead singer of the band Rhapsody, I highly recommend you react to Angra in the 3 phases, this band has a It's a beautiful story like the story of its vocalists too, I wish I could say more but it's going to be a huge comment, I wish you success and never stop doing your rock songs, I really identify with it lol. ❤🖤🤟
I got to see this song the first time they ever played it live in Buffalo. This was a couple weeks before the music video released but the cool part is they showed bits of the video on stage while they played the song so we got a little sneak preview of this MV before the official release!
A7X and Linkin Park are singing my soul, from day one. 2 of the greatest to ever exist. When A7X won their first award Linkin park was there to cheer for them btw.
