I wouldn't say William was all that honest with cc more like a half truth. He purposely failed to mention it was an accident because he's trying to get cc to hate mike. William suggested Mike purposely made plans with his friends to kill him. When really Mike didn't know William's animatronic was dangerous. Idk if William in this Au purposely made it deadly and made Mike feel it's all his fault or if it was a malfunction but still Mike didn't have plans to kill cc just to antagonize and give him a scare which he regrets.

Abusive mom or dad, negligent dad or mom, daddy's or mommy's spoiled brat for a brother or sister, sympathetic voice of reason sister or brother and then finally the overly weak protagonist who did mistakes, but the creators just immediately ignore it and just right them off as a perfect human being. That's why I called that universe Copy And Paste, every story for every character they used is the goddamn same which pisses me off along with unnecessary relationships that shouldn't exist in the first place
