Bob Dylan pours all of his mighty heart and soul into this earnest and affecting version of "I've Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You," filmed November 21, 2021 at The Beacon Theatre in New York City.
His singing is careful and delicate, deliberate, yet also passionate.
His deeply heartfelt delivery of the lyrics is at least equally matched in intensity by the pageant of expressions that play across Dylan's face as he digs deep to give voice to the full array of moods and emotions evoked by the verses. It's all here: sadness, longing, introspection, loneliness, reflection, devotion, nostalgia, resignation, mourning, acceptance, commitment, hopefulness and optimism, even a touch of pure joy.
