They hate Cindy's misunderstanding of scrum. Scrum is actually useful when implemented correctly because it is supposed to involve very little meetings, just a short stand up at the start of the day and a retrospective and planning meeting when finishing a sprint. Cindy's version involves way too many meetings, impossible deadlines, and inaccurate time management. You know, just another day at work!
@@thisisnotmyname4499 Businesspeople are always misunderstanding the business management practices designed to streamline things and make the lives of those doing the work easier. Basically every system that people have tried ends up with a bunch of extra cruft being misapplied to let the managers feel like they're the most important part of the company. Or they end up abandoned and forgotten until they can be rediscovered and repackaged as a new fad. My favorite example of the last part is kaizen, the "Japanese" principle of continuous improvement, which they learned from the occupying Americans in the aftermath of World War II.
@@thisisnotmyname4499 Scrum just doesn't work. Its trying to create a micromanager role around 'stop micromanaging' It inevitably fails every time for the same reasons, but just like communism 'true scrum' has never been tried

Jared is like a Cartman (South Park) character. He is capable most anything, but for some reason only fights the small battles with his imidiate peers and environement.
I am the Jared of my project- the one that speaks up and does not take bullshit not allows anyone else of my circle to take bullshit, and a lot of people don’t quite like the attitude but I dgaf, because my attitude often gets things done

I aspire to be Jared. Not for his crazy antics, but to be so confident in my role that I can be a jerk to do what is right by the product and my colleagues.

69th reply. Also, this lore drop on Jared reminds me of someone named "Bob" that I met once perusing the Jargon Files. He was the sort of person that SCP should be handling and everyone else should be running from.
The problem is when you get a Jared that treats all of the developers like this as well and then he just complains about everyone to everyone. Then he gets surprised when he gets like 3 hr complains about him every year.
My browser history is a trap tho. It's pretty much all random stuffs and all kinds of bad to the point you have to search for everything while being better at knowing me to at least try to think that information is not fake or just a distraction 😂😂😂
So we are clear, Jared is a sociopath, but vital to the company. That being said I have worked at companies that were, less than secure with their computer access, you can find out a lot when you are motivated
