In this video you will learn about one of the most critical (and beautiful) aspects of healthy ponds: aquatic plants! This will also kick off a new segment of videos, called “into the weeds“ where I go “into the weeds“ - too much detail about a certain plant or group of plants. While I do go into a fair amount of detail, there is so much to learn about aquatic plants. I did not discuss “oxygenators“ in this video primarily because I don’t have any in my pond, and I didn’t go into too much detail about hardy floating plants, the only floating plants shown were the tropicals such as water Hyacinth or water lettuce.
