Dude first off you are the best poe content creator I have found. A lot of what you do Is over my head but I am learning from every video. I don't usually comment on stuff but kinda feel like sharing this story. I set some goals this league that I hit and some I didn't. I am a newer player with just over 500 hours. I have played every league since arch nemesis. Everytime I try something new or to challenge myself. I played this last league a bit safer playing ea champ for a second time. I wanted to see how I could push it since the first time I played it I barely understood the game. One of the goals I set my self was craft a plus 2 amulet. I failed and wasted roughly 4-5 divines on picking the wrong meta mods. I quite the league for like 5 days since it was like 90% of my currency and It was like 3-4 weeks in. I played for another week or two before ending the league with roughly 10 divines in my stash. I hoped back on last week and sold some stuff and was sitting around 16 divines and then I stumbled on your vids. I spend some on getting materials for crafting flasks etc. I watched your crafting +2 amulet video then I watched it again. And realized I didnt mess up I could fix my old amulet. I tried again following your advice. I made a banger amulet for myself. I used it and then realized I wasn't going to play much before next league. I just want to practice more crafting. So I put it up for sale. I made my first 25 Divine sale tonight. Maybe it could of gone for more. Idk. I will say that I am now hooked even more than I was before on this game. I appreciate the knowledge you are sharing. I am not sure if I can replicate the amulet earlier in a league. But I know I have some clearer goals for crucible. Thanks again man! Also your video length is fine. No need to apologize for it. Just keep at it!

Great video! As far as I know the cluster jewels of lvl50-67 early on don't come mostly from heist because the minimum required zone level for delirium reward chests which contain cluster jewels is 68 - below that level these chests are transformed into generic reward chests which is why demolition contracts are so good to run at these early levels (they drop lots of raw currency/uniques/rare jewelery)

Your channel is so fascinating. I've read some bad stuff about you so I thought I'd come watch some videos and see for myself. And all you're doing is giving amazing advice! It really is as simple as you're giving away trade secrets and people are mad about it. Getting you banned for bullshit on multiple platforms. Spreading hate. You name it. Keep it up man. These videos transcend PoE. All these lessons you're teaching can be applied to any game or even real life investing and trading. Great stuff

This is definitely the best video you've made so far. I actually worked for a hedge fund for 10 years and never really connected the idea of buying items for investment. I understand crafting and flipping but the idea of buying clusters until people hit 90 makes a lot of sense. I think the PowerPoint kept you on target and was really helpful. Great job and good luck on everything. I hope your RU-vid blows way past anything you had on twitch.

I was getting frustrated with my lack of knowledge and ability to do what I wanted, instead of complaining I've stopped focusing on the trout and found a few great whites like you. This should help the next leagues be VERY different for me. Thanks for all this effort you put in!

I really like your point about what vs. Why. This is one of the most prolific mistakes i have seen made, myself included, by new players. Understanding the fundamentals of a build will make that build feel 1000x better to pilot.

Although many of these things I know intuitively, this video really helped to crystallize them in my mind by putting them into words. I'd be most interested in day 1-3 strategies for currency generation as that's where I've always struggled until It's possible to craft and sell higher end items.

Hi Belton, thank you for the video. I think you really hit a raw nerve here. I'm generally a casual player, but I've played this game for a few years and my expectations grew. The one item that I wanted to buy is Original Sin, I thought casually that could be a farming goal. At that time it was selling for about 80Divines, and I had about 60. Fast forward just a week or two and it goes to 115, and another week later or so 130-140. I gave up, I can't earn currencies fast enough. Any tips for casual players? What I define casual player is not only are they only able to spend 1-2 hours daily max, they are also not necessarily stick to a strict time schedule (like investing into Chance orbs 5 hours from league start), heck we might even miss the first week. Oh btw, also want to thank you for the video on flasks. While I didn't get to follow your instruction to the t, I did profit a couple of Divines from selling multiple 100C, 60C flasks. Should have spent more effort on that now I realise.

Great video. Love the perspectives and anecdotes making profit, especially right at league start. I’m surprised you used divines as the baseline for appreciation. If you look at mirrors as the measure of wealth/value, most things are rapidly depreciating, including divines.

What’s weird is I’ve invested before throughout my years and have made currency but never like 2+ mirrors from it, but enough to make my build. The thing that always gets me at league start is what should I do? Because likely I may have 1-8 chaos once I make it out the acts which for me is usually 6-8 hours after league starts. I always struggle with what I should do at that point should I spend the 8c or use it towards tabula, should I chais recipe for a few hours to buy gear? I never know what to exactly do.

This is more of a minor point but when you brought up the part about farming beasts 25 minutes in to the league to get one to make a unique and sell. I decided I wanted to go test this and see how reliable it could be. I don't believe you can find the "create unique" beast in riverways, I ended up trying to farm den (same area level, easier to not miss beasts) and farmed for about an hour and never got that beast. I did get alot of beasts to create chromes, fusings, jewellers and orbs of binding though. Regardless, I love the content and will gladly listen to hours of it. I hate to hear about what happened to you with Twitch, but good on you for pushing through and just doing what you can.

You reach act 2 in 25 mins on League start? Aren't you notoriously bad player? Or it's another hyperbole and it took way longer? What was the ratio for chance orbs 4 hours in? What did you do after getting first chance orbs from fusing orbs? ... Problem is you need this currency to begin with and it would take forever to see price increase dramatically in most cases. Quick schemes will be further tanked by people who watched the video and decided to go for it.. Meanwhile you need to continue operating and upgrading your build. I am not sure what is harder to master - ability to trade, sniff out opportunitiies and weight risks on super high level like you or push content on high level like streamers who get MB and insane gear in first couple of days setting them for a whole League. Both of these approaches let you invest into items that will appreciate later if you want.

This is a great video! As a sort of constructive criticism, I'd say the biggest thing you could do to improve your guides is to produce more guides on how to produce the first 1, 10, 100 divines, similar to your Flasks video. While there's lots of knowledge to gain from something like investing into Original Sins, it's useless to a player who doesn't have enough to meet the opportunity costs in the first place - it sort of falls into the "step 1: get rich, step 2: get richer" trap, where the advice you're giving requires prerequisite knowledge/skill that most players simply don't have.

32:36, I have gambled my one Apothecary card, that I found completely randomly, to double or nothing and poofed it. I didn't feel as horrible as when as I found it and got excited. Because I never expected to get it, I didn't feel like I lost it when it poofed. But it would have been insane to double my already insane luck.
