That’s our Vonnie. The power of God fell right there and Faith Hill being from Mississippi knows what it feels like to be in a holiness church. That I have no doubt of and that will be with her forever!
@Set Apart Jesus says explicitly "They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Luke 5:31-32 He continually tells us to go into the world and share His message. Not to hide the light He's given us under a bushel. Jesus himself associated so much with the lost that even He was called gluttonous, a wine bibber, friend of tax collectors and sinners. What a platform and inspiration God gave Vonnie to reach so many. Even nonbelievers were in tears because of how the Holy Spirit moved over this place. I assure you God is not mocked, just like Galatians 6 states: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." This is certainly sowing to the Spirit not the flesh, which was even stated so obviously by Faith Hill the moment Vonnie finished. And the opportunity was taken in doing good to all including people like us who are of the household of faith. Praise God for Him using her as an instrument to reach so many people in this world in an instant 🙌🏻🙏🏻☝🏻
To imagine Vonnie I knew you an Aaron before marriage cooked for your wedding reception and look at you both today. Bishop Lopez and your mama an daddy are so proud, Jesus too
holiness church as long as you look the part no one knows if you’re living in sin cause it’s easy to hide. It can turn into self deception, if a person is not careful, and it can be a false sense of security. Only God knows and the true children of God who walks in holiness. A religious person can’t discern that. There are a few I know with hair down to the floor, no make up that are like jezebels.
@@gabrielamontenegro8090 the beauty of real holiness is that God sees everything and if you are truly holy the outside will only be a reflection of Gods holiness shining through. Within ourselves we are nothing but it is His Word that calls us to holiness and our action of obedience that shines His holiness. Yes you can go to church and look holy on the outside but you can find out real quick if someone is holy only on the inside. Holiness is more than a dress and my pastor preaches that is begins in the heart. We go through a series of lessons and Bible studies and instruct new comers to not jump ahead to the outward look of holiness. Because they will get tangled up and worry about that and ignore the major issues in their heart. It’s so easy to jump to outward holiness and ignore the heart. But when a person allows Gods Word to instruct and we obey what the Word is instructing; that is when we can only truly reflect His holiness in modesty. Our church also instructs and teaches that holiness outwardly is more than dress but it’s how we outwardly interact with others. My pastor preachers nearly every services the importance of our attitude of holiness. When our leadership sees new comers skipping ahead of inwardly holiness it is a red flag. Seen many people just put on clothes that makes them seem holy. And it’s a red flag because you see them struggle to obey His Word when it comes to surrendering in repentance. Not even repentance with big outward sins. I see people hang up more with unforgiveness towards other people. The people I’ve seen God really change and you see them become Holy are those that receive Gods forgiveness with such gratitude that they can’t even imagine holding on to the bitterness of past hurts. These are the people I see forgiving others with a thankful heart. And when you see people start obeying Gods Word it’s like watching a beautiful rose bloom. It’s a slow process but it’s beautiful because you know God did it!

This is such a tragedy. Bro. Murrell Ewing, Vonnie’s father, would be heartbroken and kick the end out of his casket if he knew his own daughter succumbed to going on television for fame.
Klj, You should be ashamed of yourself for leaving an unbelievable rude and shocking comment. Did you ever stop to think how many people in the world Vonnie's amazing voice has touched? I doubt it because you're too busy judging her. You don't know how Vonnie's father feels. What's really important is how her heavenly father feels. I can't speak for God, but I would say he was smiling down on her for all the millions of people who were touched by her voice and the holy spirit that moved them. I know I was. Please don't ever judge another beautiful Christian like this again. Judge, lest ye be judged klj.
You should be ashamed of yourself. Vonnie touched so many people in that audience; it was a real gift for many of those people to hear Vonnie, and they felt the Holy Ghost. What have you done to touch people's lives?
Her father did television with the Gaithers. He was using the gift God gave him. Vonnie is using the gift God gave her, and it is drawing people to Christ!
No it's not a tragedy!!! I knew Rev. Ewing and he would have been and let me go as far as to IS VERY PROUD of his daughter being a witness to the entire world. Let me tell you something else, the television is not the sin, what you watch can be the sin. Justice anything else. And believe you me, there are plenty of Holy Ghost filled saints that have TV and internet. Again, it's what you set before your eyes that is the sin. Not the equipment!!! Learn some wisdom 🙏
