I got to see an advanced screening of Tetris last week. After watching the Gaming Historian's episode on Tetris, I was really excited for this movie, and it did not disappoint! It was a lot of fun!

My former father in law (70+ at this time) was so obsessed with Tetris, that he stolen my sons Gameboy right before we left for homecity, after spending holidays at his house. My son was destroyed, cause he played Pokemon games at this time too. So we got to buy a new one. He then pretended to find the Gameboy left behind by my son, but i myself packed it in the luggage before leaving. So it was clear he was lying. But as a passionate gamer of the first hour i forgave him.

They should've redone that clip and made it so they were multiple pieces trying to fit together and then the 4 long just comes in with a "look". I saw it last week - not what I expected. Who knew back then that in my grubby 12-year-old hands lay the fate of nations.

When he was shirtless in Kingsman: The Secret Service, he gave the game away. Once you see it, you can’t un-see it.

The movie Tetris had little to do with the real story of how Tetris came to the US. It was an overblown exaggerated Hollywood movie with a car chase scene. If you want the real story watch THe Gaming Historian's story of Tetris.
