I think it's one thing to start and learn boxing, everything is new, you start from scratch. Dillon has to not only learn how to box, but more importantly unlearn his MMA stance. Your subconscious has to completely ignore all reflexes that are focussed on potential moves that only happen in MMA. When someone moves forward, you've spend all your life recognising every small vulnerabilitie, 20 reflexes screaming how you can choke him out, grapple. And what to expect when he moves a leg, out of experience, you immediately know the 20 possibilities. Well now he has to ignore his own reflexes and ignore the mind processing all the possible moves from your opponent. Thats gonna lead to surprises, moves someone in MMA would never do (they would never punch when they can choke you to the ground). And you're going to either ignore your own reflexes or make mistakes by moves that don't fit in boxing. *Remember Mcgregor V Mayweather. Everytime Conor had a opening he went into rage moment and started stomping him on the back of his head. And his movement was clearly from another sport.

Sueing every opponent he's fought, his corny antics that always backfire, trying to make everything too animated, and just taking things way too personal.
