It’s so funny how everyone’s criticising KSI’s boxing yet Tommy Fury the “professional boxer” wasn’t any better in fact was clearly the lesser opponent

Tommy who is boxing for his whole life and is a pro boxer like he said himself couldn't convincingly win against a guy who doesnt even do that for half of the time he does that is embarrissing on its own tbh

KSI fought exactly how we thought he would. Tommy underperformed severely and exposed himself as not a “pro boxer” but being at the same level as influencer boxers.

You know it's bad when: 1. Tyson himself looks surprised that tommy won 2. His other brother says that Tommy's performance is bad and that he looks vulnerable 3. John fury saying even he is not sure who won before it was announced 4. Even the personalities who clowned ksi in the build up and think he got no chance, thinks he got robbed

I don’t get why so many ppl are criticizing the clinching. Both sides were doing it, and when they did they were dirty boxing like crazy. It wasn’t boring hugs like ppl make it seem.

People making it seem like Fury is completely innocent for the fight being a clinch fest and blaming it on KSI is 😂 Maybe the Pro Boxer shouldn’t have looked as “bad” as the RU-vidr.

Like I’m not gonna act like I’m a pro. But when you’re first taught boxing besides the jab and the overhand they teach u how to work in the clinch, because a lot people don’t know what to do when that happens. They show you how to safely enter and exit the clinch, get ur shots off in the clinch, put you’re weight on them and then push them when u get out. KSI stayed out of range so Tommy couldn’t just jab him like Jake, then jumped into to range, sometimes missed and sometimes landed the right clean, and then out punched Tommy in the clinch. Tommy didn’t land anything besides back of the head shots which he continued to land after the deduction. And in the clinch Tommy was clueless what to do in those situations. Tommy was the bigger, more experienced and superior technical fighter. So KSI made it dirty to win it. People complaining about a hug fest is only valid if you wanted entertainment, but people acting like it’s illegal is funny as fuck. Clinching is part of the sport.

KSI won or there was a draw. KSI definitely did not lose that fight.

JJ's strategy was genius. He was bouncing outside of Tommy's range which makes it hard for Tommy to Jab or read his footwork to estimate when JJ's gonna throw. Then, JJ was lightning speed walking into range and throwing the overhand. Very unusual style but IT WORKED. Tommy had no idea when JJ was gonna throw and was sooo useless during the clinch. The only reason the judges gave it to Tommy is because they didn't like JJ's boxing style and didn't want to go off script and give a "professional boxer" who is part of the FURY clan and has been boxing since 6 years old his first loss against a youtuber who trains boxing for a hobby.

Judges were not focusing on the inside fighting. They assumed it was all a clinch where KSI was shining.

I find it crazy how no one is talking about how Tommy was holding as well. Every time JJ ducked Tommy would grab his head and put him in like this guillotine or hold JJ left arm while clinching.

The scribbled out score card is wild. Fixing games so early in this new trend of crossover boxing is an easy way to prevent it from continuing to grow. Nobody would've known who Tommy Fury was if it weren't for Jake and KSI, and the disrespect Tommy shows to KSI would only be acceptable if he was actually in a higher league but clearly "RU-vid" boxing is exactly where he belongs. It should've been called as a draw.

People have almost forgot that clinching has always been a part of the sport its not dirty to clinch if u cant handle a situation clinch reset it was a good strategy in my opinion fighting a tank like tommy fury in my opinion the fight was pretty boring but KSI did as expected and definitely did not lose

It's important to remember that a boxer supposedly cut from the same cloth as the current heavyweight champion could only graze by a youtube boxer who's only fought for such a relatively small time frame. The fact the decision is as close as it is to begin with is embarrassing enough for Tommy.

how do you jab someone that bounce on the other side on the ring and when you come near him he lunges at you with a shot and then clinches. most boxer will look bad

Alexis kinda takes responsibility for the loss, even though I thought KSI was robbed he didn’t mix up his shots, landing in the clinch and throwing that overhand over and over without any setups, the uppercut and left hooks were there, but it feels like his coach didn’t give him any tips to use them.

I don't think it was a ROBBERY I think it was too close to say someone was robbed it could have gone either way. most people thought it was 3-3 with the point deduction in the final round and with a clinch fest the judges had a hard fight to score. you could argue a Tommy win, ksi win or a draw and I'd probably agree with you.

This fight proves that Alexis is an excellent trainer. He deserves to get the trainer of the year award this year. I'm talking about the same trainer award that Eddy Reyneso has won. I'm not kidding. This guys training methods and tactics are the best in boxing. I feel sorry for him and KSI.

wait, this is actually interesting. why did the judge who allowed the Tommy win scribble over his score which would've made Tommy lose? while i do think it was a draw because of the deduction, something is definitely fishy here and i'm in doubt if the same thing won't happen in the appeal. plus these judges have been very questionable with their decisions since the prelims (#JusticeForChase). something is definitely not right here.

12:45 All 3 tickets have mathematical errors on them. The middle ticket looks like numbers were changed. First round from 7 to 9 and the second round looks like it was changed from 8 to 9. Even with the new numbers, there was a minus 1, so the total should have been 56 not 57.

Everyone saying Tommy deserved the victory does not understand boxing. JJ was not the only one clinching, Tommy could not get his way the entire fight his jab was rendered useless by JJ. JJ got his way more and landed more significant shots. I had money on Tommy thinking he would destroy JJ but what a performance from JJ, with the point deduction it's impossible for JJ to have lost. A draw or a JJ win were the only 2 correct options. A Tommy win was the only unjustifiable decision. The better man lost!

The word robbed is used very easily these days whenever someone loses a close contest.

The judges didn’t count the scores right. They gave Tommy an extra point. Look at the scorecards. It actually is a robbery, it would’ve been a draw and Tommy got lucky to have not had 2 or 3 points knocked off for punches on the back of his head and the one after the round ended.

Ksi was looking for Tommy to get that point taken , first couple of shots in the back of the head were soft asf and jjs fault because he kept clinching and would turn his head when he was in the clinch, also he hit Tommy more times and alot harder in the back of the head and Tommy didn't complain once

Swinging wild as jj was is extremely awkward and jumping around with his guard down would make it difficult for any boxer to deal with. Tommy wanted to box while jj jump forward threw hands and went for the hug clinch every time he attacked, it makes it look like jj doing more but realistically most of jj shots came from in the clinch or just has he was going into the clinch while he threw hands. Can’t lie I thought Tommy was going to go all out in this fight but seemed like his game plan was just to try out box him and let him jump around while out boxing him which worked in his favour.

Let’s talk about the fight and not the result. The fight was shocking. Truly one of the worst fights I’ve ever watched. The 2 main events were so so poor. Not a good look for influencer boxing.
