Preach Bron! Bag talk is absolute garbage. The only thing that comes from it is players playing 1v1 in a game and trying to build a highlight reel instead of focusing on winning the actual game.
Funniest thing is that LeBron is the leading scorer of all time both playoffs and season. People have the audacity to say he doesnt have a bag. 😂😂😂 Lmao Kyrie and Kobe has more bag than Kareem but they cant beat the scoring record.
@@TransKidsMafia these Peds argument are present since 2011 when Bron got to his athletic physique. You haters say that he'll only last 5 years after Peds. 10+ years later, you're at it again???? 😂😂😂 You all losers
@TransKidsMafia when Jordan came into the league at 176 ballooned to 215 during era with guys high on cocaine, it was because he put in the work or his killer instinct .....smh
How is that the message you took from the video. Lebron is literally talking about how all this generation cares about is having a bag and 1v1s, and here you are only caring about 1v1s 😂
He's got the fadeaways, running bankers, mid range, three...it really isn't about the bag, it's how you use it according to the defense thrown at you. That's something that Bron is the GOAT at imo.
Bron right. They always use that “bag” term for dudes who just score the ball in a pretty way. Bron got 40,000+ career points, but the casuals say he doesn’t have a “bag”….😂😂😂😂 the greatest scorer ever….and he’s a pass first player…..which is what the game requires, unselfishness, because there’s four other guys on the court with you.
Kids think having a bag is chaining 12 dribble moves together just to settle for a contested fade away. In reality, having a bag is being able to get to your spots and score at will. KDs dribbling “bag” is like pretty much just a cross over or a tween cross over. He rarely uses any other moves. It’s not because he can’t, it’s because he doesn’t need to in order to score.
The game used to be 1v1s before you were allowed to double. Nowadays thats a stupid way to play. Jordan only had to beat his guy so playing in iso was a win win but now its stupid.
???? Jordan could NOT pass the 2nd round of the playoffs until Pippen joined the team. LeBron carried that garbage team to the FINAL when he was only 21-22 years old. That’s the difference. Jordan is an overrated and over promoted Nike product
serious and important point. but when lebron said the line "i hav a bag" calling it out, it was utterly and sadly hilarious. lotsa super skilled 1v1 players coming to us via internet highlights from all of the 50 states but lotsa world players are playing a different type of ball.
Foreign players, specifically Europeans, don’t just play different they play objectively better. American AAU teaches kids not to pass because you probably won’t get it back. European camps teach players how to make every type of pass, read a defense, play in the post, and emphasizes the importance of defense. I’d rather have a player averaging 25-6-6-1-1 and no turnovers for my team than 35-10-6-.1-.1 and 4 turnovers for my team.
Well Kobe is that type of guy who are proud of himself “having a bag” or his one on one skill and always like to play 1 on 1 with other players. Maybe he is also another bad player in Lebron’s eyes too I guess?
EXACTLY!!! I love this! Draw 2 and get the ball to the open man. Ideally the easy lay up, or the great shooter in his spot. Especially when the team is moving off the ball, setting screens away from the ball and cutting working together, then having the IQ, Vision, and ability to get the ball to the open man in his efficient scoring spot(s), ahhh that BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BASKETBALL
honestly, if you say lebron has no bag whilst being pro basketball's all time leading scorer (he already passed oscar schmidt), that just speaks about his greatness. So you're telling me a guy that has limited moves still managed to score 50k points all throughout his pro bball career? lmao
If someone says lebron had “limited moves” then they aren’t worth talking hoops with 😂 Also he’s not gonna score 50k points unless he plays like 5-6 more years lol and he already said that’s not happening.
@@eliyarrows2456 the 50k was his entire pro-basketball career not just the nba regular season. This counts the olympics, fiba, nba playoffs, nba finals etc
Kyrie won you a chip doing the opposite. Klay was guarding him, you helped force a switch and Kyrie hit a three in Curry’s EYE…. That’s exactly how the play was drawn, for 1’s…
Lebron and jokic have to be the only players in nba history to average 28+ppg on a full season and be labeled a pass first player 😂 “Elite scorer jayson Tatum vs pass first big man Nikola Jokic…oh wait they average the same ppg this year”
Getting defensive because he can't dribble without travelling and backs down from competition against better players like kobe. He knows he is nothing without superstar team-mates to do the work.
People say he has no bag because he can beat in you in more ways than just scoring. I'd rather a player be able to create a high quality shot for someone else than a difficult one for themself
This narrative is dead. Move on already, Bron has proven that he has a bag and if he doesn't have a bag according to your definition then clearly having a bag is useless because no one has more points than Bron while having over 10,000 assists as well and also winning 4 championships.
To create that double team on the ball... the person with the ball HAS TO HAVE A BAG! Why would those great teams send a double team?? This is utterly talking out of both sides of your mouth. Shake my damn head. LMAO
Ignorant response. Just about any player that's left in isolation on a mismatch will win that mismatch. You don't have to have Kyrie handles to do it. Watch the game, you see it all the time. Literally watched Greyson Allen cook for 8 3s because they wouldn't double him. He did that on back to back games, the next game that team sent an extra defender and he went like 1-7 from 3. It's not about dribbling behind the back, crossing over a guy and trying to create a highlight, it's about hitting your shots in the 1v1 situation. This isn't a video game bro
@@michaelvance4492 wow! You are that impressed with your own lack of basketball knowledge! What the hell are you saying?? Grayson Allen is a spot up 3 point shooter. That's his job. You are never gonna see Devin Booker come down court with 2 minutes left or less and hand Grayson Allen the ball and say get us a bucket. Are you drunk? You think Grayson Allen is the same player as Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving?? What world could you possibly be from, not here, not thinking like that.... You think Grayson Allen, who leads the league in 3 point shooting percentage has the same BAG as Steph Curry or Damon Lilliard?? Have you ever watched a basketball game or you just read box scores?? What separates all the players I mentioned from Grayson Allen?? I'll wait for your dumbass answer. They have more than a stationary jumpshot. Every player has a mismatch. Seriously. You must have grown up earning participation trophies as a kid, because parents believed all the kids are equal on the court. Who is Grayson Allen's mismatch?? You do know Grayson Allen only attempts 3 2pt field goals a game, Right?? That means he doesn't go to the basket with the ball! WHY??? AHe has THREE offensive basketball assassins on his team. KD, BOOKER and BEAL. Do this. Don't talk basketball. Ask questions. Who in the hell who knows basketball would ever say, Hey, look, Grayson Allen has a mismatch! You can't be serious. Please. I beg you. Don't repeat that dumb sht to anyone else. Wow
Lebron RARELY gets double teamed. The entire game of basketball is matchups, in every situation. You're looking for that "matchup" in order to take advantage of it. Lebron has been hearing he has no bag. And, this is his response. Favorable matchup, Lebron, is anyone guarding KD in half court, with no help. It should be Lebron, but he has no bag.
in case anyone who isn’t retarded is curious, they actually go over how often bron has been doubled in his career in the full podcast episode, good watch
@@MarvinStephensjr The entire game of basketball is inherently one on one, within a team... Seeing as you don't know that shows me you don't even know why you agree with Lebron's pointless point lol Passing is also in a player's "bag". Lebron is playing dumb. People have been saying "bag", "skillz", "game", "tools", "weapons" to describe how many different ways a player can destroy you on the offensive end of the court. It doesn't mean let's play one on one lmao Lebron has a small "bag" and he's not included in the discussion when people bring up "greatest bags"... FYI: It only means offensive skills one can do consistently to score the ball or assist in scoring the ball.... You're welcome.
do you watch lebron games one of the reasons why lebron is a good passer is because he is athletic enough to collapse the defense and get DOUBLED when he drives then kicks out to the 3
@Velocityspeaksfacts Also, add to the fact that Lebron turns the ball over alot... and he rarely plays defense. And, you can see why his teams lose when it's time to win big games. His impact on the game is minimal because he dominates the ball soo much that his teammates have to be above and beyond in their performances that it can't translate to wins. Lebron is good. He loves that he's still stacking stats. Kirk Cousins stacks stats, but he doesn't win rings. They have a scoreboard so we can see which team is winning the game. Not, So we can know that Lebron has some stats. It's about winning the game. He cannot talk about how to win rings because he doesn't have a recipe for it. He thinks he's the reason you win rings, but reality says otherwise.
Bag means skills... dribbling, footwork, actual basketball moves. Lebron only has rev up like a locomotive and go to the basket. He knows it. We know it. So, he's trying to dumb down how complicated it is to try and use actual basketball skill to beat a man to get a shot. When he can just bully his way to layups.... because he doesn't have those skills. Period. It is magical watching a little guy like Kyrie open his bag and go get a layup, like Lebron. Or, watch KD surgically rip guys like Lebron a new one with one or 2 dribbles. It's another thing Lebron doesn't have much of so he comes out defending himself. How are you gonna shit on someone like Steph Curry and he has a bag big as Santa Claus?? Cuz you can't do it??
He's clearly jealous that he has no skills and uses the off arm shove to get to the basket for a 2 foot layup or dunk that players aren't allowed to defend or a phantom foul will be called
@michaelvance4492 I described his game, he uses his off arm to push and shove the defender so he can score a layup or dunk, most cases no one defends because they know the refs will call a foul, he travels, carries, has zero legit skills other than some passing and chase down blocks
Most people leaving comments don't watch the actual games because if they did they would see this dude isn't fun to watch and the nba is desperate for this goat narrative
If AJ Barrera at 5'10 is guarding Lebron James in a championship game and Lebron doesn't want to take advantage of that one on one matchup... I know you don't know basketball, as well as you think... Wait! Oh, shit that happened. For real.
@alexnupp803 Percentage?? Bro, he played 16 years and you want me to talk about a player with 12,000 points..? JJ Reddick is a specialist. As a pro, he is only a jump shooter. For his 16 year career he averaged 2 fg per game, while hoisting 5 threes per game. No one is tossing the ball to JJ Reddick and saying, go get us a bucket. I don't put down pros, it takes a rare dedication to get to that level and stay, but I also am a realist. JJ ain't Steph because Steph has a BAG to get that jumper off, anywhere and anytime. Steph has a BAG that gets him to the rim and alot of times beating double teams. Steph has a BAG that he can reach in and move without the ball and come off screens, not just from 3 point land... Anywhere. JJ has moving without the ball and coming off screens in his bag.... Judging him as a professional ball player, he's just a jump shooter, a specialist.
@jairemnmacabeo9051 That would depend on what you mean by not having anything to show for it?? First, you do understand what BAG means... It's simply how many different ways you can score effectively. Every Super Hero has a special set of weapons. That's all it basically is... It's not just one on one. Passing would be in most player's bag. Pivoting is in the bag, like a MJ or Kobe. The ability to surgically destroy a defender quick and efficiently. Kevin Durant has a bag bigger than Santa Claus! He can catch and shoot. He can score off a jumper with 1, 2, or 3 dribbles. He uses head fakes and hesitation dribbles. He can post and shoot turnaround jumpers over anyone. He can run off screens and knock down jumpers. And, he doesn't need any around the back, dribble until my defender falls asleep, until I score. KD is decisive in using his bag to destroy. Levron saying it pisses him off people talking about a BAG is because Lebron's BAG isn't the best. Why he feels insulted by that is beyond me. A small guy like Kyrie better have a BAG if he wants to score like he does or how Iverson did. Lerbon doesn't need Steph Curry's BAG. But, people don't bring up Lebron when it comes to talking about players with a deep bag, or a signature move.
That's all LeBron does want to play ones with smaller defenders just to drive and see even if refs can bail him out. LeBron is such a joke passionately dislike his weak game. This pod is a disgrace . covering up his failures and changing his own narrative.
Bro you’ve been mad for 21 years and it’s embarrassing. If you’re not playing to your and your teams strengths in basketball than we know you absolutely don’t know how to ball nor should you even be discussing it at this point. Stay mad kid
LeBron literally says in this video that if you get a favorable matchup then go for it but to not do it all the time because teams will start sending help to double them. Also LeBron is not like that, he literally has a ton of shots that he goes to.
