Watching Peyton, Eli talk football with Ray and Russell was incredible to watch. Also Eli having 2 superbowl rings against the goat while being totally emotionless is the biggest flex of all time

The fact that Eli has the same number of super bowl rings as Peyton Manning is just perfection. Two very different careers but at the end of the day both will have the same number of rings and both will be in the Hall of Fame.

The truth is that I don’t think I’m speaking only for myself when I say the real reason we want to hear an athlete do color commentary is because we want to know what it would be like to 1) watch the game with a great player 2) want to know what it feels like to be a player In the game and learn insider info. Peyton and Eli- are exactly what we hoped that all those players turned color commentators would be!!’ Watching football with Peyton is like listening to music with Mozart 👍👍👍

There’s a lot of us out there that would simply turn off the regular network commentary if given the option. This was definitely needed. People just want to relax and be entertained at the end of the day, and not feel like we’re getting ready for a statistic class/lecture. The dry analytical corporate approach isn’t cutting it anymore, and why we’re seeing this unfold. Be real and we’ll be there to watch.

For everyone who jokes about Twitch and streaming, kids “watching others play video games”, this was pretty much the same thing. You are watching this stream for both the content of what is in the background (in this case the football game) while enjoying the commentary or antics or *fill in the blank here* that their favorite streamers do that makes them enjoyable to that individual. How many of you wouldn’t get a Twitch account if Peyton and Eli decided to start their own channel and do this stuff along with breaking down film etc? Truth is a lot of people would because it would be very entertaining, you would learn, laugh and get to watch football and learn about the game you love and have been watching or playing your entire life.
