One of the best, most beautiful songs ever written, if not the best... so beautiful. I can listen to this over and over and never tire of it. Robert was touched by genius and the Gods when he wrote this perfect song. Exquisite!
I remember how old I was and where I was when I first heard this song and started loving the cure. Now it’s hours away from 2024 and I still love this song. This is truly one of the best songs ever. This is a magical and when you listen to this song, most of the songs from the care, you just feel like you’re taken away someplace better
A lot of musicians "back in the day" were students of music. Some studied classical techniques. Maybe they started out in High School Band, but a lot of bands had real musical training, like Queen, and ELO. Then came "rap" and the "internet". Remember Bieber? Neither do I.

@@annettematisz46 I'll suggest that the early days of "Rock and Roll" were monetized from the beginning, with Elvis and The Beatles leading the charge. There was ultimately money to be made, which drove the promoters (I forget who it was for Elvis), record labels, concerts, and radio industries. We just can see it clearer today.

What makes The Cure so unique is the Keyboards!!! That sound makes it so childlike, happy and playful. The Bass is amazing and so is the drums and lead guitar. Add vocals and you have Perfection. No one sounds the Cure!!!
My 16 yr. old daughter had trouble going back to sleep just now so I played this - all time best- song and it worked. With music like this, life is really good. Here’s to enjoying many more years with these king rockstars…
A pure music Genius for sure, the Cure songs can take you back to a specific time in the 80s for Gen X a beautiful time to be a teen and falling in love for the first time.
