Someone may have already mentioned it but those slips around the packaging are commonly called Obi Strips. You’ll see them the most on Japanese music releases, but they can be on any sort of media.

I love seeing shoot-em-ups on these pickups videos. I'm starting to pick more of them myself or just save on the PS4 app or NS E-shop, and while I'm still trying to collect 40 games from the past 2 years to now, if I see a shooter on sale, I'll buy it. I may not be good at them, but I can at least use them to play when taking breaks from (J)RPGs

Mad Props to Metal Jesus in this Video being real about situation that a lot of people dance around. I've said it for years why I prefer to pick female characters in the games when some of my friends made fun of me UNTIL, I laid it out like Metal Jesus did here and they all shut up and now do the same. Love these pick up videos nobody does them better then Metal Jesus & Radical Reggie on RU-vid.

Hogwarts Legacy is another one of my very favorite games of this year. Seriously, exploring Hogwarts Castle is just incredibly fun and magical. Also, this is not the developers first game they've developed. But it is the first game on this massive scale that they've developed.

They ported some very popular Midway arcade games, also Tak, Toy Story 3 which has a Toy Box mode which led to to then making Disney Infinity. I’d say that was massive since they tried selling toys with it and Disney lost a lot of money. That led to them working for Warner Bros on Hogwarts Legacy.

Love these pickups, and I wishlisted a bunch to play on Steam Deck, but there’s one I’m definitely buying and playing tonight on Deck and that’s… UNMETAL!! I’d never heard of this and it looks like a great spoof of MGS! Now I also need to see if another MGS spoof I had wishlisted has come out (Covert Critters). Great show as always MJR (and RR)!

What a duo. Keeping alive the flame for all us that grew up in this era. It's amazing that you have turned your passion into something like this. I am not making a request as such, but would love to see you do games walkthrough. There is so much rubbish out there, people screaming for likes, that honestly you would make a difference. Plus having watched MJR's Shivers walkthough (go check it out RIGHT NOW), I have concluded that my fav type of walkthrough is when you put a bit of backstory or interesting facts. And you are amazing in doing that so I can only assume Reggie would add even more to it. All in all, even if our paths will probably never cross, love you guys I hold you dear to my heart cause you express a passion I can't express myself easily

For Jedi Survivor, the reason it says online required is just for the install as the game is about 150GB and a Blu Ray can only hold 100 so the other 50 has to be downloaded, but after that the online doesn't matter

i just started playing the Quake II Remaster and it fantastic, Nightdive does some incredible work here again and the fact that PC players get it for free if they own the game already (which i did) makes this all the sweeter, it even comes with all the expansions, a brand new expansion, Quake II 64 and the multiplayer (Take Two could learn a thing or two from this) and it only costs £8, incredible value for money, i would have bought it, had i not got it for free, i also just played the multiplayer for the first time and it's so fun i wish the Arena Shooter genre would come back :)

You just made me go buy that Tales of Destiny collector's edition bundle on Project Retro Games! I loved playing Tales of Destiny on the ps1 since i was a child and i still have my game even today! I have so many memories of my brother and i playing that game since its co-op in battles. Thanks Reggie for showing this! I was surprised at how GOOD the Saturn footage came out for this video. I'm using a PolyMega w/ a CRT filter and I'd say it looks as good (or better) than the PC version!

Oh it's been a long time since you've done one of these videos and I'm glad you did because I've been looking for new games to play even though I still have a stack of games to play, but so far I haven't seen anything great that I want except for Star wars and cyberpunk which I already played and own. I recently found out that the developer of Jedi survival are going backwards in time and releasing an old gen versions of the game I'm so hype that they're going to be releasing for the old consoles. I also cannot wait for part 2 of this video to see what else you got.

I recently played through Smashing the Battle and really enjoyed it. You need to be in the right headspace. It's a grind at times, fairly simple- but it is quite fun. I'm also excited to play Wanted: Dead one day, Trinity Trigger and Wife Quest. Reggie has good taste!
