I was in panic mode most of the episode until Kendall starting doing okay

I love hearing J.'s take on Geri (who is my favorite character). She's incredible (J. as Geri), and she's a stone-cold fox.

Episode 6 was seriously intense! Started slowly, disjointed, and like a symphony it built and built . Wild ride

The worst thing about Succession is that there are only 4 episodes left. The best thing about Succession is that there are STILL 4 WHOLE episodes left!

If Kara Swisher doesn’t receive the exact insight / answer she wants, she doesn’t respond the question. Either that or she interrupts to shove her own thoughts into the discussion (even tho she’s talking to the literal actors and writers)

Ken is back and happy he subverted expectations but I fear it’ll be short-lived. I think the writers are building up Shiv though but her pregnancy might impact things in the end. Roman was completely impulsive and ends with a heartbreaking scene that either has him missing his dad and/or realizing that his dad was right all along about him.

Nothing like a pitch for a product that helps you live longer from a dead guy

Shiv is the kind of woman who wants unconditional love but is turned off by receiving it and knows her love for someone will only be there if they don't love her back. Tom is the kind of guy who uses nice things to fill the void he would rather be filled with the love an independent, powerful woman. But the woman he wants would never trade all her possessions and lifestyle to live with Tom in a trailer park. So, the best he could do is to chase both and never fully succeed.

So many cringey moments I could barely look. Brilliant writing/directing/acting.

When Tom and Shiv were intimate, could he not tell she was pregnant? During the wake when she and Marcia passed on the stairs, marcia stared at her belly and asked if she was okay- Marcia could tell her belly was swollen.

I think Shiv is the key factor in this season.

I love the mysterious, shrewd Gerri! She know when to speak up and when to shut up! I think there's more to my girl than she lets on and she's just waiting for the right moment to make a MAJOR move with the Roys and the company.

What an episode. So interesting to hear the director talking about blocking, will have to rewatch with this new perspective

Winners: Kendall, Old Guard for setting the kids straight, Tom and Shiv’s chemistry, Living + , The elderly for being promised eternal life Losers: Roman, Joy, the overworked stage and sound production staff, Paul, Mattson for not being able to stop presentation and having to delete his tweet, non-existent HR (like seriously how could these guys just terminate employees without any kind of HR or legal counsel present!?)

Alexander S is insane. He's the perfect advisary for these brats.

I kinda read Roman's "I need you to believe I'm as good as my dad. Can you do that?" as less of a 'please tell me I'm good', and more of a "hey! We're trying to run a company here, and if you're not on board with Me/my thoughts/my actions, then why are you here?" (which - of course - she isn't, but still) At least, that's how it felt like, 'aurally' - literally the way Kieran says it (since he has shown 'needy' Roman-voice many times over in other dialogue)

Shiv is actually the most impressive this season.She seemingly is keeping EVERY option open in career AND in love.Can’t really blame her TBH?Always getting left outta the loop by her brothers;who clearly are spiraling 🌀 😮

Watching the entire entourage series last week definitely changes the way I see this show.

The Succession podcast is not nearly as good as the one for The Last of Us.

I keep hoping for a spin-off...or 2!!! The story/journey of a few of these well fleshed-out characters could definitely continue post Succession finale!

At the beginning of the episode I was sure the siblings would completely unravel. By the end I’m somewhat confident they can block the sale and acquire Pierce.

I still really feel for Shiv, Tom and Greg are such sycophants, Machiavellian parasites without a backbone. Tom is obviously a cruel person, as displayed when he feels he has a bit of power, as he is with Greg. I love Gerri, she is the one adult in the room who actually has some concern for the business and the children and puts up with sooo much. It would be great if Gerri and Shiv could somehow survive this in charge of Waystar, firing both Tom and Greg (though Tom has bribery material, wait until he finds out Shiv is carrying his child, does he love Shiv? We don't really know this, because admittedly he follows the money and actually want to be CEO.) Shiv is damaged, like all the children, but she does love her father, even as she tries to not get taken in, and eventually does bite on the CEO promise. Kendall has been a selfish narcissist from day one. Kendall and Roman don't seem smart, they feel like children wearing suits that are way too large for them, though I have some respect for Roman, who has some street smarts and does love his father. Don't want this to end. Just no.

What if Logan isn't really dead, but playing to see which one of the kids actually might be able to lead? Or for that matter, Gerri? And let's not forget, Kendall is doubling the numbers too, making things up about Living + numbers that are not real. So, that can come out and explode too. Kendall is such a worm.

What good is Tom? What does he have to offer the business or his marriage? Nothing. All he cares about is money. He has no true skills.

Is it possible Gerri is Mattson’s mother? We really don’t know who she is do we?

This show was so badly written last year. Then this year started and it's worse then all the other years. WTH? More people go to Google after each of this seasons episodes to find out what they just watched. That's horrible and the acting is very poor. So surprised they were able to get Alexander to come back for this season to play Mattison!

Another terrible episode..might just be the worst
