A long time ago, I remember Al DiMeola talking about this amazing Sicilian kid that the critics were having a hard time classifying. The critics failed, Mr. Mancuso. You are beyond classification. I just finished getting rid of a bunch of subscriptions that I decided were meaningless to me. But I couldn't let this one go. You are such a singular and rare talent, sir. I just couldn't do it. Thanx for all the wonderful music.

That's not how youtube works. Subscribers don't flock to talent, they flock to trendy crap. When it comes to things like real musicianship, proper carpentry or home repair, the big channels are much more likely to give you bad or even dangerous advice than the small channels.

Cheesy distorted 80’s sound is a turnoff. Hammer-ons to the soulless bend is so tired. He needs an American blue producer to get him playing better music and less distortion. Or he should play clean jazz like joe pass etc.

Close my eyes and I literally can't tell whether this is Guthrie Govan, Max Ostro or any one of a growing number of feather fingered fret dancers whose tone's and phrasing and backing tracks are all the same. Impressive as they all are I've never encountered such a degree of sameness in styles.
