Seguo matteo da in bel po', e l'ho visto su quasi titti i canali di youtube, per lo piu americani, ma anche spagnoli e francesi. Ho lasciato dappertutto i miei inauditi commenti positivi su matteo, a volte l' ho difeso a spada tratta...una volta su Facebook mi hanno censurato... Proprio stamattina ho lasciato un commento su un canale che esprimevo e auspicavo un ritorno almeno fi un tastierista ... poiché matteo in live si sente tanto la mancanza di un appoggio durante gli assoli, soprattutto del bassista. L' ho scritto in inglese auspicando almeno in live un tastierista con piano FM o Rhodes, con un paio di pad.. C'è un canale americano di un bravo chitarrista che ha letto il mio commento su un vs raro video...mi ha chiesto di voi, del Drift-Lab group...della Sicily... si chiama Phol... gli giro subito questo link del canale. Chiedo: siete ancora tutti in gruppo? Questo esperimento giapponese è ispirato per caso dai Casiopea? Dico chiaramente che seguo matteo da sempre, l'ho definito il futuro che ci piomba all' improvviso addosso, un alieno, imparagonabile con nessuno, perché è di un altro pianeta... Poi ho visto un video vostro con questa sfaccimma di mostri (sono napoletano, 60 anni e vivo a venezia)...non dovrei fare paragoni, ma in quel video mi è sembrato di essere travolto dal vs sound come 30 / 40 anni fa, quando sono cresciuto con Vannelli, Spyro gyra, Mezzoforte, Yellow Jackets, Cick Corea, Jeff Lorber fusion, I Casiopea...e altri. Mi avete ridato la vita ragazzi...non immaginate cosa ho provato...e non immaginate quanti vi cercano in America...!Matteo è Dio fatto chitarra. È unico, immenso... come Mozart, Einstein, Michelangelo, Aristotele... Come Maradona (scusate...). Poi spero di avere un contatto mail con Matteo, che devo rivelargli delle cose... Intanto vi prego, non sciogliete mai questo gruppo, siete indispensabili per milioni di persone come me... Love you for ever Drift-Lab.. Matteo, non hai la minima idea di cosa sei, di cosa diventerai e del perché sei così unico, immenso e perché rimarrai nella storia...per sempre. Vvbps... Keyboard solo suggests use of tonal colors in a way akin to pointillism in painting. Heard in the whole, at a 'distance', there is beautiful structure. But heard too 'close' there are often just 'points of sound color'. Attaining such melodic control is a significant achievement. Few can play at that level. This ensemble is brilliant.

Ok, this is brilliant.. every instrument played at the highest level but not only that, you guys also know how to add color to the music and make it super enjoyable to listen! Since I am a guitarist I also have to say that I finally hear someone who might follow in the footsteps of Pat Metheny.. but all of you.. brilliant song, technique and composition / improvisation!

That is an amazing tune!!! Beautiful song but why in the world did you name it Japanese experiment when you added no Japanese harmony, instruments, chords, scales, or pretty much nothing Japanese? The title is pretty disappointing, the music is awesome.

When I was 17 a revolution took place in my music world. Return To Forever, Mahavishnu, Weather Report and Herbie Hancock all arrived more or less at the same time time. I followed them all completely till the times changed. But now Drift Lab have re established the type of music that I totally love. Technically perfect musicianship played on technology that would seem to be difficult to improve upon. (The Fender Rhodes/MiniMoog arrangement costing a small fortune were my weapons of choice back in the day). I'm just hoping that they produce their work on CDs to add to my very extensive collection. (I already have Matteo's first CD. Inevitably it has been played to death.) Many thanks to Drift Lab. I now have new music to enjoy, analyse and reproduce in my own way.

When you listen more than twice... maybe more than hundred times... is cause theese people knows how to play real tunes !
