because the scholarships were not just for ballet, Chloe got the ballet scholarship, Maddie got the contemporary one and I think Brooke got the acro one.
Chloe was so humble that she didn't even realize what the judge meant when he told her she needed more ballet classes. She thought it meant her ballet talent wasn't good enough, when it was obvious he meant that she was so talented that her current dance studio wasn't good enough for her ballet potential and she needed to go somewhere else.
The female judge summed up Maddie perfectly and it’s how I always felt too - Maddie’s choreography had SO much crammed into it that it always went just too dang fast! Her dances made me feel like it was just a race to get to the end it.
Cathy is SO LOUD oh my gosh what a trouble starter. “Don’t only talk to me” I can’t believe she said that to the judge! If I was one of her kids I’d be mortified

Cathy was saying that Abby was “screaming” at her to be quiet and said “its Abbys voice that you hear”. Umm no. All you could hear was CATHY. she was the loudest one in there
Maddie actually did get into the school it was just all staged for the program. I’m not sure whether she found out after chloe or what but I feel bad for her nevertheless
I noticed that everytime Maddie is stressed or frustrated she wants to organize or make sure everything is perfect like her hair but melissa takes it as her being bratty. I think it's her copping mechanism

Actually, yes. I feel Melissa cared for the other children also. The Mom's just hated her because she wasn't willing to take an opportunity from her child to give to one of theirs. She gladly accepted every opportunity for Maddie even if it meant another kid would be hurt by it. Which is life. I would do the same thing for my child.
@@ElysianFeilds93 i didn’t say anything about opportunities for maddie. obviously any of the moms would take a good opportunity for their girls. but melissa didn’t even say anything about chloe getting the scholarship. she was just talking about maddie. whereas christi was able to be happy for chloe AND recognize that maddie was disappointed and empathize with that. it just says a lot
Melissa cared for the other children. Honestly all the mothers did. But watching this back honestly Christie was a bully to a lot of people throughout the show.
Chloe would have NEVER acted like that, she was always happy for Maddie. Even when she won one time her first words were “I hope Maddie is happy for me because I’m always happy for her when she wins”
Maddie was upset cause she wanted to organize her phone and Melissa wasn't letting her and started making a scene, I reckon it was definitely edited to make it look like Maddie was being bratty directly after the phone call...
maddie and chole exactly got it both but maddie was mad she wanted to organize something they just make her look like a brat the show makes maddie look like the brat and its just sad its editing that they do
@@hii9266 I know right!! So many people hate on her for things she had no control over too (like Abby making the decision to give her a solo) and then they make it even worse by editing her to seem spoiled :(
@@jeonbunny633 the producers made her say that. A lot of the time the producers would sit people down in the chairs and wouldn’t let them leave until they said what the producers wanted them to.
Chloe has such a pure heart and that showed through when she danced. And the fact that Chloe was so gracious when she won just proves how much she deserved to get that opportunity.
That judge was right in terms of the young lady with the make up on. She almost looked cartoonist! I feel bad though, a young girl likely in her first or one of her first major auditions and thats the feedback she gets, she probably felt really embarrassed. I know I would. But hey, those are the lessons you remember forever!
But I still agree with the guy, There should be no need for a child to shake his behind when auditionning for a scolarship. There should be no need for a child to know how to shake his behind at all !!!
i think chloe definitely deserved the scholarship. she not only dances beautifully but she also had great manners in the audition. she would also be so happy for maddie if she got the scholarship and is always happy for maddie if she wins
I feel that the Joffrey ballet officials maybe the only people on the whole show who have given Maddie and all the girls proper advice. As we can see Maddie has been put on top numerous times it was interesting too see someone give her critical advice
Update on this episode: Maddie wasn’t angry about Chloe getting the scholarship. She wanted to organize her makeup brushes and I guess her mom said no. The producers just put that clip in at that certain time and had the parents and kids talk about the scholarship. You can even hear Maddie say “I want to organize them!!”
Something peculiar about Maddie is that when she loses or when she gets anxious since she’s a perfectionist she always wants to organize something or fix something. But I’m not sure, I’ve noticed that when Maddie feels anxious she tends to organize stuff maybe that’s why they used that clip

If you look when Christy is on the phone Maddie has red lipstick on and then when Maddie is trying to organise her stuff she doesn’t have the lipstick on!!

Maddie also got the scholarship, she wasn’t mad about Chloe getting it she wanted to organize her make up but her mom won’t let her. They just edited it to make it look like she was a brat.

Ummmmm actually both of them got the scholarships. Maddie was upset because her mom wouldn't let her do her own makeup. The producers made it seem like something that it wasn't. Including Brooke, for acro. Chloe for ballet, and Maddie for contemporary.
i remember watching this episode with my mum and we were both talking about how chloe is our favourite for ballet. she just looks like a ballerina and has the right technique and that natural talent and love for it. great job chloe!

I feel like Chloe’s audition was way more put together than all the others, you can tell she truly loves ballet! I also love how humble and kind she is “I just hope Maddie is happy for me because I’m always happy for her” maddie literally saying “I think I deserved the scholarship because I deserve to be on top.” I’ll definitely be raising a Chloe 😅
My mom was a ballet teacher and when I showed her Chloe’s dancing my mom was utterly shocked that she was in a competition team rather than a ballet school because her technique was beautiful
I believe I heard that behind the scenes Maddie ALSO got invited to thr Joffery, but it warmed my heart that they showed that Chloe received this opportunity. She deserved it, and it warmed my heart that she had a chance to shine because ballet was truly Chloe's strongest style and she was the strongest at ballet in the dance moms group so its always nice to see someone who has worked hard to become one of the best at something (one of the best among the groups they are in) and then get rewarded for making that her speciality :)

chill I know that Brooke and Maddie also got a scholarship but they said its a ballet audition. Also there was one judge who told Brooke she didn't like tricks.

if you didn’t know the kids where told to say stuff by the producers and it also makes no sense because maddie got a scholarship too it’s just highly edited
Proof it's edited: At 10:36 Maddie is there with the other girls in front of a white background. At 10:38 she is in front of a black background with her zipper up. At 10:55 she is on a chair, still with her zipper up and no earrings. At 11:17 she is walking with her zipper down and wearing a hairclip and big earrings (which usually take a while to put on). So her argument with Melissa was completely separate from Chloe's phone call.
Notice how maddie said "I feel upset that Chloe got a call" instead of "I feel upset I didn't get in"? and she also said "I thin I deserved to be on top" everybody lets maddie get to their head
You do realizes that the cast has confirmed that they were sometimes told what to say in interviews? Stop judging Maddie over an episode she filmed ages ago. Also Maddie got a scholarship as well so she probably wasn't mad that Chloe got one
@@marmar2380 Every time someone has a negative perspective about Maddie and her behavior, you guys immediately defend her actions by blaming the producers or lie and say everything was edited to make her sound bad 😂 her behavior on the show and, more importantly, in interviews were oftentimes bratty and disrespectful. End of story. Shocker, but people are allowed to not like her.
Chloe was the cutest, sweetest, most gracious little girl ! Christie may have been a lot to deal with, but she did such a great job raising her girls!! In my opinion, Chloe was the most naturally gifted dancer, she had such a grace and elegance about her, her dances were much more emotional than the other girls. I feel so baddy for Mandy, because now as an adult, she said that she’s finally learned that winning is not important and that she doesn’t need to strive to be perfect or better than anyone else.. She was the defining a product of her environment… Abby and Melissa treated Maddy like an adult.
Not trying to sound rude but I’ve always thought this, I personally don’t think that Maddie’s facial expressions that Abby hypes up so much are cute at all lmao😐. She dances beautifully but those faces needed to go 🤷🏼♀️🤣
At the Joffrey Ballet School, Chloe was the one who really shined bright. Out of all the girls, she is the best at ballet. She is a true ballerina and a shining star. 🌟
It’s probably Maddie’s coping mechanism. She’s such a perfectionist and so when someone beats her she’s upset she didn’t win not necessarily that another person won but that she wants 2 do better and b the best so when u can b perfect at dance, u want 2 organize.
At 11:15 I never noticed when I watch the show but Melissa is trying to take the makeup brushes, or whatever it is, away from Madison. And you hear Madison say "No, I want to organize it/them" she almost looks panicked. It just hit me like a ton of bricks, my sister used to do the same thing when she would get really really upset about something. She would work herself up so bad and she would want to either start organising something.... It really didn't matter what, they could be the food in the refrigerator, candles that were in pairs of more than two sitting on the coffee table, books on the Shelf either from biggest to smallest or color-code them. And this is a sign of extreme OCD. Like I said I can't believe I never called that. And I could definitely definitely see a lot of traits my sister had in Maddie and her strive to perfection in everything she does.
@@danvo1571 those are scripted. At least some of them are bc when Mackenzie is doing an interview (i think that's what they're called?) she sounds like she's reading. Also Maddie might have really thought that bc Chloe was top of the list instead of her but Maddie did also get a scholarship.
