He also could have been so upset when he saw his mom in the court room because he deducted she was in jail because of the lie he told… I don’t think there was enough evidence to convict her of murder but definitely neglect. I would be curious to find out what kind of person the little boy develops into and if he was a habitual liar. Imagine your mental health as a struggling single mom of two difficult children (the girl had issues and the boy was delayed) and this tragic accident happens then you end up in jail?! How insane.

Yes I just thought the same. I don't think she did it, I think she was just a poor soul, if she was malicious I think she would just conceal everything and wouldnt be open about not bonding with her daughter, all evidence was just circunstantial and then she gets life imprisionment, crazy.

I think there’s something wrong. No toys? None? No sheets. It’s just not normal. When I disciplined my kids, I would take away their favorite thing. Not clear out the room and strip the beds. Where did she claim the toys went when they knew they weren’t in the shed? Even broke my kids had a few things or hand me downs. You can get a bag of little toys at goodwill for a buck. Just saying. I do wonder what the rest of the house had in it. If mom had good stuff in her room?

Man my daughter has adhd, and it does get rough and become a struggle.... but still I could never say, I could her... now have I used the phrase many times throughout my life,not meaning it, like you were saying. But still I cant ever say that about my child.. and I believe she did it. My daughter is about the same height, and so is our pool. It would be very hard for her to climb over or throw herself over the top if the ladder isnt there Thanks for the upload! ❤

Yeah I 💯 agree. I just couldn’t bring myself to say that about my child joking or not, and I’m sure some parents DO say it in a joking manner and would never do anything but still just seems so fishy. Also the more I think about her height and the pools depth…doesn’t add up

I do believe she neglected the children and may have been abusive. I remember listening to her coworker say she constantly said she hated that little girl. Not a single toy. I believe she lost her temper and her son saw it. As soon as he was alone with his grampa he started telling grampa what really happened because grampa was most likely a safe person for him to confide in. Over time the young boy would forget as he should. He was adopted by a loving family that loved him. The only good thing that came out of this tragedy

You can very easily fall into a pool like this. The top ring is filled with air and the rest is like a hard rubber that forms itself as the whole pool fills with water. So the sides are kind of like a waterbed/it bends if you lean on it and water pours out and so you can slip into it easily. But I think she did kill her. Rip baby

Wouldn't the bruising point to Adrianna slipping and hitting her head, rather than being held down - if holding someone under I think it would be by the shoulders rather than by the forehead... 🤔 Either way this definitely wasn't proven beyond a reasonable doubt imo.

I mean I understand the say it like "oh I could have just killed her" when speaking to someone else about the sharpie incident. A.J. was too young to testify I'm shocked that was allowed but even though the accounts of exactly what happened changed he stayed consistent with saying his mom dunked his sister. But again depending on what the pool was made out of and it's condition if it wasn't full to the top the side could bend enough for a child to get over and if the bottom was slimy she may not have been able to stand without falling back in. But it just seems coaching A.J. would be hard if he had the mind of a 4 year old and not able to be done in 15 minutes and again he always said his mom did something. Bit idk just my opinion
@ZaraV
@ZaraV 2 года назад
I actually didn’t think of that! 15 mins is a really short time and I for some reason was thinking he may have been coaching AJ prior to the incident. Yes and the pool being slippery is such a good point. Great insight 🤔

I don’t know how I feel about her guilt or not. All I can say is we’ve had one of these soft pools. If you lean against the side the sides will bend under your weight. I fell backwards once on ours and the water came rushing over my head. And the bottom of the pool isn’t soft it’s like hitting solid ground. Not saying she didn’t do it but I felt like I could share some information.

I was a single mother when my first daughter was born she was a very busy child and I was very inexperienced as a mother I had a tough time being a real mom with her I loved her very dearly and I was learning how to be a parent but I never blamed her for me trying to learn how to do the right things I got very frustrated but I never said I wanted to kill her because she did something that annoyed me I took full on responsibility for me learning to be a parent and grow and I would have never hurt my own child there are so many red flags in this case even though I got frustrated she had cute sheets on her bed and comforter she had toys she had cute wall hangings on her wall and when I was having a hard time dealing with situations that were truly my fault and went to see a counselor on how to be a better mother so there are so many red flags here I think this mother was having a lot of her own emotional issues I can see her snapping and drowning her child what mother would not even have bed sheets in a cute little comforter on their kids bed or at least a warm sheets and blankets in my opinion it shows the mother's personality and how much she really didn't want these kids or even wanted to try

I could see how she could have climbed in the pool without the ladder, fallen in and maybe just panicked and that’s how she drowned. Even if she could have touched the bottom. Being in a panic could have overwhelmed her and didn’t think to touch the bottom. And if there wasn’t a ladder, there wouldn’t have been anything she could have grabbed on to. But who knows. Going to prison for life and not much evidence doesn’t seem right to me.

She got shafted. I've never even hit my kids, but I have said that I wanted to kill them. Of course I never meant it.

I have three kids...my first two are boys, 14 months apart...one has adhd...THEY WERE EXTREMELY hard to handle and raise...I have been very pissed off at them and have NEVER uttered the words...I wanna kill them. I'd say she's guilty based on many other facts. And maybe she wouldn't have played with stuff she's not supposed to play with if she had actual toys and a cleaner environment to play and develope in. Your home reflects how you feel inside. I think Amanda gave up and couldn't handle it anymore. She let rage over take her.

Idk about any of you but I can’t get my 4 year old or my 6 yr old to agree to anything if I say the sky is blue he would be absolutely adamant that it was green , I can’t even convince my kid he’s not a dinosaur let alone get him to say something I told him to say .

Uhm.... Of course parents tell their close friends (esp single mothers), "Omg I could KILL them right now!" when talking about their kids. Usually it is when they get older, when they UNDERSTAND what they're doing wrong but doing it anyway, etc. If you have a 2 year old and only a 2 year old, you obviously haven't experienced that sort of frustration. Of course, you don't mean it! It's the same as talking about a coworker that is driving you up the wall or something like that. Now, saying it TO them? Like saying, "I could kill YOU??" Thaaaaats much, much different....

I personally do not believe they should have put AJ on the stand. Being an avid watcher of true crime & knowing what witnesses go through while up there, being cross examined & such, just doesn't sit right with me. But I have a question...if the step-grandfather really thought the kids were being abused & neglected, how come he never reported it? This is the type of stuff that really bothers me. If you know first hand, that a child is being abused, speak up. #IfYouSeeSomethingSaySomething I'm so tired of these people coming forward after the tragedy saying they knew something bad was going on. Well, I hate to break it to ya, but you're part of the problem!

She should’ve of just gave the kids to their father .Hmm so she was barely feeding the kids according to her ex, the house didn’t even look like kids lived there , the little girl was afraid of the water and couldn’t climb in by herself , plus she had bruising on her forehead . She didn’t have a bond with the little girl but she did with the boy .Multiple accounts of her mistreating the kids . I’m leaning towards she did it .

I am really surprised she was found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, honestly. I think there is a good chance she did it, but definitely have reasonable doubts.

I'm sorry but it doesn't sound like there was evidence beyond a reasonable doubt to me. The poor little boy even changed his story countless times...sad case.

Without the benefit of being presented all the evidence in the way that a juror is, I still think that regardless of what I might THINK the truth is, the "beyond a reasonable doubt" thing would have been too big a hurdle for me to be 1000% CONVINCED to vote guilty. Another thing I noticed in the very beginning of the video was the picture of her and her daughter, the professional portrait one. The way she held her arm just flat, next to her baby seemed so weird to me. I probably seem way too nitpicky, but it really stood out to me without knowing anything about this case. Maybe it's just me, but everytime either of my kids, when babies, were near me, I literally HAD to hold them, have an arm around their waist, or even my hand holding their little ankle. Such an instinctual, automatic thing, but that was BEFORE she was deployed right? So she didn't bond right from the jump then either I guess. Just something odd I noticed.

I agree! Always holding a hand or leg, or stroking their face, it just feels weird to sit blankly next to your kids 😵‍💫
