I have a question. How do you find the beaver dams? Does someone call you to have a beaver dam taken out on their property? Or do you just drive around in the country until you find a beaver dam?
There is a nice David Attenborough BBC youtube clip of a beaver family building a dam. They carry big balls of mud. I thought it was just silt that got trapped over time. They also shove branches into the mud at the base as food for the winter. Fascinating.
