“Mothership” [Hard Demon] - By illybwoy and pludee 

Absolutely fucking sick layout from ill68 and pludee. Every part is really cool, with something unique visuals that stick the alien theme. The gameplay is pretty fun for the most part. The first build-up is kinda weird tho, with the pink orb “ufo” thing, and then the mini cube after. The sequence is a little awkward, but once you get it, it’s pretty satisfying. The first drop is incredible and really trippy. It looks complicated with all the rotating gameplay, but is actually really damn smooth once you get it. The second part of it is literally just spam (I think?), but is also satisfying asf. The part where you go into the control system of the mothership is actually some sick visuals, and I can’t even wrap my head around how ill68 did the scaling thing with each window. The swing part is a little bit of a choke point if you don’t really know the flow of it, but it gets pretty consistent once played enough. The second buildup after that is pretty fun, and very tricky tho, especially with the spider gameplay and teleportation orbs. The second pludee part is really fun, and has some awesome visuals, with the moving platforms, and clouds! Really reminds me of the aesthetic of my older layouts lol. Although that swing part transition was a little annoying. The last part with all the slopes is pretty good, but a lot of the orbs can be skipped, and the last sequence after the blue pads is really awkward to play, and the slope trajectory is off. Overall, amazing jobs you guys! This was a blast to play!
