On a serious note they've done loads of studies on old people's physical health and mobility, happiness scores and mental health (including whether they want to stay alive or feel they have purpose in life) and scores absolutely plummet as soon as old people are put into care, even when social activities etc are organised for them. Old people who live alone, even at risk of their health via falls etc, do much better on those tests. Multi generational households where the grandparents are around the young kids improves their health and happiness scores by heaps, and significantly improves the language and social skills etc of the small children too. This is why they now run trial programs where they get daycares and kindergartens to do daily activities at old people's homes etc.

I understand but I also don’t…. I’d move the parent in and provide home care - bad up the place with bare cameras - wifey gotta stay home to keep watch and help. The cases of elderly treatment in aged care homes is crazy so it’s an absolute NO from me. Point. Blank. Period. Wifey gotta charge it, create a granny flat, extra room, wherever and wallahi exhaust all options before aged care comes to mind. If you have a compassionate and understanding wife and she doesn’t need to worry about the husband moving mad, (providing etc etc), then she’ll most likely help out. Especially when there’s one parent left, got to.
@@almurabitun it means, pray about it and when you find wifey, have that conversation before pursuing them and learn the rights & responsibilities of your wife and mother. In most cases, a wife will be compassionate, compromise and assist as long as the husband is ready to work hard and fulfill the rights and responsibilities of his wife so that no resentment is built and vice versa.
That's why Asian Muslims have their parents live with them expecially the eldest son looks after parents because leaving parents alone or in care home is not an option.
