Here's a flip flop junk journal I created for my latest ⁠⁠‪@SamPoole‬ Design Team Project. I'm calling it "Nature's Story". I used several of Sam's kits, stamps, and dies that complimented the nature theme (all linked below). I hope you enjoy the flip through and find some inspiration!

This is my most favorite journal you have ever made, and you know that is saying a lot! It is amazing and everything I love. The packing paper cover is one of the most original things I have seen. Brilliant. I love this so much sweet friend. I waited until I got home to watch because my phone in the panic room was too small! XO

Rhonda , nothing gives me more pleasure than nature. I get most of my inspiration from all that God provides us with each and every single color and detail in our out door world. I take my camera on my walks so I can walk more slowly as to not miss a thing. In my opinion “New Years” should be in spring where all things become new and re born !! I will have to watch this video at least 3-4 x on the TV to get each and every detail. I gasped when I saw the wrap in the beginning! Your artistic expression and talent is so inspiring! Thank you for sharing this “story “ as always 🩵🌸🦢🕊️🍀🌳🪻🌼 oh , have a blessed Easter

Rhonda, just wow! This journal is amazing in all of the details that you added. So many wonderful ideas. I liked the way you added that fold out music page at the center of a signature for writing space and didn't fold it even. It looks so good. I know that's a crazy thing to focus on, but it stood out to me because my tendency would have been to have it perfectly straightly folded. ha ha. I also loved the embossed daisy with the die cut. I believe you said it is a Tim Holtz item. Do you know if that is still available? I am always fascinated with all of the tucks, flips, pockets and in this journal the flip flopping four! signatures. I think I need to watch this video again and take notes. I've never seen packing paper like that either, and even if I had, I'm sure I would not have thought about using it in a journal. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas. I always enjoy watching your videos.

Hi, Linda! This makes me smile!😊I used to fold everything straight too but realized I liked things better not so perfect… adds more interest! That emboss/die cut is by ”Stamps by Me” and comes in a set of 3 pairs of designs, with this one being “Daisy Meadow”… but I couldn’t find it available anywhere. Maybe you can watch for it on eBay, etc. I love interactive journals, so it was fun making it… a little complicated at times lol. And I love that packing paper! Aww, thank you so much for that, Sheena. It means a lot! To age my pages, I either dip them in coffee and lay them out to dry, sometimes adding different patterns of plastic lace placemats or plastic lace tablecloths over them as they dry to give them a pretty lace look; or I just spritz them with coffee so they are a little bit lighter. I also like to distress the edges just a bit with walnut stain distress ink. Some of the pages in this journal were printed with a SamPooleDesigns digital that makes them look authentic with the foxing too. It’s from her “Sewing Notions” kit. I hope that helps!
